I was really looking forward to War Horse but loads of us were turned away as they had given out too many tickets.
Did people who did go enjoy it? Would love to hear what you thought.0 -
Red dog... hardly a dry eye in the house. Not what I was expecting... promised my son a talking dog along the lines of Homeward bound . I was however mostly disturbed by the Aussie blokes in hot pants.

War Horse was very good. Wonderful story and characters. Horse was lovely n tactile. Beautiful scenery and cinematography. Rounded off the week nicely!!!
Cinema was packed and we had the film security bods observing. Some of us clapped @ the end. Quite long (2.5 hr) and had to nip to the loo!! (missed a bit sadly)0 -
Ah good, sounds lovely, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I can't wait for January so I can go and see it!0

War Horse was very good, but definitely not excellent. Some strange CG skies, a very cheesy and clunky storyline, but supremely well made. (Tintin was definitely Spielberg's best freeview of the year.) And for once I can't complain about the latecomers still being let in, as they began it 30 minutes early!!!!0

I cried watching Uggie in The Artist, wept hard during Red Dog on Tuesday and sobbed during War Horse today. Thank Gawd I had Winnie the Pooh and a repeat showing of Tintin to keep me sane and dry eyed yesterday!0

Our screening started 10 mins early and the cinema was packed!! Arrived in the nick of time and had to beg to be allowed in.

I though War Horse was really good, lots of sniffling noises all around me (men and women!) and I was grateful that I had some tissues in my bag. I agree the cinematography was outstanding, it left me thinking about the film long after I had seen it which I always see as a sign of a good film. So glad I got to see it.Best wins: Brit Awards & After Show Party Tickets 2012; Samsung Galaxy Note; 32" widescreen TV; £500 National Garden Vouchers; Kindle Fire HD; £100 high-street gift card; Kindle; Diamond Necklace; BAFTA TV Awards Tickets 2015; :beer:0
