Sadly, not everyone got the toffee popcorn, some of us got the cardboard common or garden variety. :(

HA! yes ! as i remember, it was toffee popcorn at my VUE... but it was a really good feeling to find it awaiting on my seat!.. whatever flavour it may have been, it was a good gesture, and made me feel welcome.. :)

The best food goodie bag I ever got was for Hop screening when we were given huge bag of Lindt (I think) chocolate bunnies in various sizes. That lasted me for ages. :rotfl:

I remember that, made up for the film which was a bit predictable- cute, but predictable. Big bag full of Lindt gold bunnies, they don't make them like they used to, lol!!

  • Not sure if we were meant to get the choc though as we didn't win the Tesco competition it was for, lol!

My husband said what if there isn't enough for the kiddies who did win in the competition?

Ashamed to say I said But it's FREE chocolate!

In Liverpool it wasn't for competition winners, think our screening was after that but they made sure everyone had a bag. We did joke that they had missed us out so we could get a second one. Didn't go through with it of course lol

I didn't know about the competition, they just handed me a bag as I walked out the cinema so I took it :)

They had boxes and boxes so I didn't feel guilty!

If anyone is interested i have just cancelled 4 tickets for Happy Feet in Swansea, sky movies screening tomorrow morning as i am working. Hopefully they will have time to realocate.
  • I never got popcorn, but I did get a free pair of 3D glasses, but unfortunately I couldn't eat it. Anyway bring on some codes please.

I know it has gone very quiet on the code front lately, seems to be the way lots of films and then virtually nothing. Luckily i have sky movies so i do get to see quite a lot for free :)
