Anyone seen Crazy Stupid Love? Just debating whether to go and see it on Sunday as something else has also come up. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks.

Go and see it, you'll have a good laugh! :)
  • Hi

I know I have mentioned this before, but if anyone has any spare tickets for Batmam tomorrow, I would be so grateful if you could let me know. I will pay you for them. We really want to go, but can't afford the £38.50 per ticket, so if anyone can help.

    Thanks

  • Did anyone go to a screening of this? Was it any good?
We travelled for an hour to the wonders that is Doncaster Vue, arrived nice and early to bag a good seat, to be greeted by a lovely lady in her SKY t-shirt telling us that the film hadn't arrived yet. She said if it arrived before 6 they would still screen it if not we could either watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes or email sky and get two free tickets to a film of our choice! So we patiently waited while the poor woman repeated herself over and over.
6pm arrives and still no film :(
    6.03 the film arrives :T
6.04 the cinema refuse to screen it  stating it would take too long to set up!
The lady from Sky asked them A LOT to change their minds but the refused - leaving her to deal with everyone :(
As it turns out we hadn't seen Apes yet and decided at least if we watched that it wasn't a total wasted journey (however, with the 40% of voucher it would have been cheaper to watch at our local Odeon than the petrol costs of going to Doncaster!)

Very disappointed with Vue staff - the rest of the cinema was virtually empty and they didn't even ask if we minded waiting a little extra time (which I think most people would have been fine with - if it was fine to screen the film if it turned up at 6 I'm not sure how much of a difference 3 minutes would have made...3 minutes I would have thought?!?!?!) they just said NO :(
Valuable life advice: never play chicken with a lion...the lion will ALWAYS win!
  • Anyone know any codes for free screenings in newcastle pm me please, im new to all this lol

    Thanks

I saw this today as well, much better than I expected with some bits making me cry with laughter, even the slower bits were watchable as I really got to care about the character's and Ryan Gosling's character somehow almost made Steve Carrell look hot (although nowhere near as hot as Gosling's characte, he was smokin'!!!!!):D

  • Went to Greenwich Odeon today to see Warrior...but due to a technical glitch this was a no-go

Fortunately we were allowed to see Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and that was a damn good film!

Still fingers crossed in case more warrior tickets come in the few days before the official screening (highly unlikely thow)...

Anyone have views on Drive? Got some tix for tomorrow but not entirely sure on that one yet...
