Where does it say that? I had an email last night and it doesn't mention anything about the page from the Radio Times.0 -

Mine is the one from the Radio Times and has got the logo on it.0 -

I have to say, I didnt get this email...0 -

I've also been to loads of screenings and have never been asked for the extra page so hopefully everyone will be ok tonight, especially if there are two lots of tickets. The cinema ushers won't be bothered trying to work out who has got an extra page and who hasn't. They usually don't even check ID at my local cinemas, unless it's a Virgin screening.0 -

Re. the above and the post in codes only saying they've never been asked for the appropriate page....
I'm FED UP with people not taking (or not even being asked for) the relevant page at previews in the last couple of years. It used to be an expectation and now people just don't bother, often having just got the code via sites like this or via a friend. I don't mind MSE etc. giving the heads up but people should at least buy the publication. It's time the cinemas started insisting on it.
Apart from being unfair on people who DID go to the trouble of buying it, the future of free previews is jeopardised since the companies involved do it partly to increase sales and their profile. If no such sales increases occur when they promote a free preview, and it happens every time, I would imagine that they will think twice about investing the money in further previews.

If you'd been going to free previews as long as some of us, you'd know that until the mid noughties and everyone having the internet, you HAD to take the relevant page because tickets were given out by a code you got from ringing a phone number and writing on the page, or by actually showing the page at the box office a few days before the preview.0 -

Do you buy every magazine/paper for the codes that you use then?
I've been going to free screenings for years and have never been asked for the page. I'm sure the cinema staff don't know to ask for it - they're just told to collect the tickets and they don't ever check for ID either.
I think if they made sure that everyone had the page then the screenings would be half empty and that would rather defeat the point of them, which is to get people talking about the film and tell their friends.
The screenings for Virgin and Sky do ask for ID so they're obviously more concerned that their subscribers see the films. I've never seen a Sky free screening but the Virgin ones have their own staff who check names off the list and ask for ID.0 -
