    Life in a Day

What goes on, in the world just for a day, moving in some parts.

Went to see 'Life in a day' this morning... really enjoyed it...a fun and original documentary...sad, funny, thoughtful etc...recommended.

Went to see life in a day today. Only stayed for first 45 minutes then walked out. Complete waste of time & petrol!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Wondering if anyone has two spare spaces for Prom tomorrow evening at Port Talbot Apollo. I am going with my family but my nieces found out about it and would love to go but there are no more tickets left. Thanks in advance.

    Life in a Day

Went with low expectations, but was pleasantly suprised! Nice to see what else goes on in the world. The happiness and the sadness, but best of all, to see those less fortunate still happy with what they have - really makes you think!

There were some scenes I could have done without seeing, and although I enjoyed it, I don't think it is one worth paying to see in the cinema, but would tell people to watch it if they could stream online on you tube or if it was on tv.

Def the kind of thing people will either like or hate, but watch with an open mind and no expectations and you may be pleasantly suprised! :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I found Life in a Day extremely moving and poignant. Some very funny moments but some very sad bits too - it made me laugh and also cry.

I really think they should have warned people that the film contained scenes of animal slaughter though, as some people could find one part in particular very distressing indeed. It wasn't a big part of the film but it's still haunting me now and I only caught a glimpse before looking away. In the screening I attended there was a Mum with 2 kids (looked about 9 & 11 yrs old) who walked out after that particular scene. I'm not overly sensitive myself but will probably have nightmares tonight! There's also another particularly disturbing piece of footage which I wish I hadn't seen....I definitely wouldn't advise anyone taking under 12s along with them.

All in all, watching this film was very rewarding so I don't want to put anyone off, but anyone of a sensitive disposition be aware that some of it is very hard-hitting!

    I quite agree.

My daughter and I both thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Hi all,

Could really do with some help-

Got tickets on 27/04 from Telten for tonight- I printed the tickets out there and then because I no longer have access to the email address I registered on the site with - I've lost the tickets! Does anyone know a way to reprint straight from the site please?

I have now updated my email address and emailed them asking to send out to me at my new email- but I haven't had a response and the film is tonight-

    Can anybody help please?

    Thanks

The animal slaughter scene was particularly gruesome but in some way vital. There were two other 'death' scene, one human, the other animal.

Thought the film generally was very moving, many of the stories would have made full length documentaries in themselves. As with anything like this though, at times, one felt slightly manipulated :)
