I'd really like opinions on the trailer for The Tree of Life. Doesn't it just look fascinating. I know it's against our money saving principles, but even if there were no freebies for this movie, I'd p*y
to go and see it

Er, it doesn't, but saying "she doesn't look like a troll" clearly means he/she knows what you look like.
Never mind, they clearly just phrased things incorrectly and meant something else.
I'm sure it was all innocent enough, but surely you can see how strange it looked....to register with a site just to ask which cinema was showing a film rather than just asking his/her friend??? Ridiculous. And then to say they weren't interested in a film because it wasn't showing at one particular cinema??? As Groucho used to say...why that's the most ridiculous thing I ever hoyd!0 -

Of course s/he knows what I look like - my photo is there <<<<<<<<
I'm sure it was innocent too, which is why I defended it - no ulterior motive. People join sites for all sorts of reasons, and if they like one cinema over another, then who are we to judge? I don't especially like the Showcase in Manchester, so am not too bothered about going there and might wait til a film is out at Vue or Odeon and pay. We;re all different.
Aaaanyway... this has dragged on enough. Sorry to be part of derailing the thread.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -
Gutted ,went to the gnomeo and juliet screening on Sunday and there was at least 20 people they didnt let in no offer of another movie either and pretty rubbish customer service , the kids were really disappointed so my free tickets are going to cost me £22 to take them another day.MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0

Er, no it's not! Maybe it's a browser issue (I use Chrome), but there is no photo showing for me...
Apologies for any misunderstanding.0 -

First come first served unfortunately.
There has been much debate about this recently, and I still remain unconvinced that they give out too many tickets. I believe it's a combination of dodgy photocopying and miscommunication between the distributors and the cinema as to how big a screen they need.0 -
