I was able to book Chalet girl tickets earlier for myself and on a friends account, I booked them through going to the ticket booking page via the bedlam link and it appeared on the drop down list along with yogi bear.
I then logged out and went to book some for my aunt and noticed on the rewards page they had updated it to include the book now links for Chalet Girl and Yoga bear, after you click to book now it just stays on that same page where it displays the movie password and doesn't go beyond that, when it should be going onto the ticket booking page for you to enter your email and book the tickets.
So I tried to go via the bedlam link again and got to the ticket booking page, entered email and now only bedlam is displayed on the drop down list... looks like they have removed the other 2 screenings.
I assume they will be available later by going through the correct ticket booking links once they've finished updating the website.0 -

If you have pop-ups blocked for sky or in general, you don't get any error message and you don't get a booking page.
This is a recent change and was introduced after Bedlam was listed on sky's site - which is why that button worked for you.0 -
The book now button no longer redirects you to the booking page. Instead a pop-up appears and that is the booking page.

Thank you very much, solved the case ...I did indeed have pop-ups blocked lol0 -

*is having a bad day and annoyed by being spammed with useless notifications*
I also find it annoying when I get an email notification through, letting me know that someone has posted (chat) on the Cinema Codes thread...
...but I honestly think that lots of people here don't ever use the notification system, so some people genuinely don't realise why posting the odd comment here and there can frustrate others so much.
I don't think that the "Codes Only" thread 'guidelines' specifically mention notifications. It may help people understand their impact better if it was pointed out that when you make a post, everyone subscribed to that thread will be directed there, expecting a code.
I know rules are rules and should be followed regardless, and some people will still ignore them even knowing full well why they're there...but I do think that pointing out how notifications work will better explain why lots of people get sooooo frustrated when chat appears in a designated non-chat place. At the moment the guidelines just say that codes are harder to find when mixed with chat, which is true enough, but people may think twice if they realise that they're potentially filling up email inboxes etc with unnecessary alerts and making others visit the site especially to read something which they probably don't want to read!0 -

I'm not a sky customer so can't help unfortunately.
All I can advise is keep checking the sky screen.
Guessing you're a sky movies customer too? As this screening is only for SM subscribers
RE: Chalet Girl. I just managed to book tickets and I don't have a Sky Movies Account - (although I am a Sky customer, I just don't have the movie package).0 -

I think it's also clear that a fair number of people don't like being notified about 'free' films which depend upon a subscription. The minority that have the relevant subscription obviously find this very useful, but everyone else gets notified too, then investigates only to find it a waste of time.
Others have pointed out that if you repeatedly visit the subscription sites, sometimes the films become 'free' to non-subscribers, but that seems like an extremely time-consuming hit-and-miss exercise, surely of limited interest?
The e-mail notification system has no way to distinguish between subscription-dependent codes and those that are free. The increasing number of subscription only offers is eroding the value of the notification system.0 -

I can honestly say that 95% of all postings on the code only thread are of no use to me at all - because my city is rarely listed.
Does that mean that there should be a thread for London screenings only for example?
Not in my opinion.
As others have commented, I have enough to do checking all my regular threads without having to search for yet another 'new' thread - esp as all these new threads will not be able to be set up as stickies.
We have had endless requests to have this discussion thread as a sticky so it is easier to find..... and therefore hopefully cut down on chat on the code only thread.
We have not been able to set it up as a sticky - so there will be no chance of a splinter code thread being a sticky.
If we are talking democracy (which we are not) I vote to keep the code thread altogether, irrespective of whether you need to be a Sky customer, Sky movie customer, Virgin Customer, Registered with SFF, live in Bristol or London or happen to buy a magazine.
A free screening is a free screening.....imo;)0 -

Here here!
I've requested several times this board be made into a sticky but get knocked back every time with the same reason; this board is quite popular so they say it stays near the top of the threads. But I'm sure this and the cinema codes board must create the most work for the BGs out of all the other freebies pages.. so why not make it even easier and just allow this chat thread to be a sticky.
Even TV tickets discussion is a sticky... and for no reason, I post on there every couple of days, it seems to hardly ever get used, i cant remember the last time i saw more than 1 post by someone else in the last month... can we not swap? Lose the sticky on that thread and give it to this board instead??
Lorweld... Heather.... Alwaysonthego.... care to input?0 -
does anyone know of any previews coming up for never say never?0
