Going by the previous post that SYRIANA is the voucher code for the Syriana film I thought I'd try BESTINSHOW for the Best In Show film. And yes, tried it on my blinkbox account on my Ps3 and it works. :T

Not yet paid for anything on blinkbox and thanks to an earlier voucher I had £20 to spend so now have 7 films in total, all for free. Brilliant :j
TANSTAAFL - unless you have a voucher for said lunch from MSE :D

Sorry, I should have made this clearer :)

It's from BLINKBOX - there IS NOT a DVD to obtain

You can either STREAM IT or DOWNLOAD IT

I presume a CODE or URL is in the newspaper so that you can get it for FREE - would normally cost £5.99 each

Ah, thanks for explaining. Never heard of Blinkbox - I'm sometimes a bit blinkered to sites outwith MSE - lol (especially those which might normally cost money ).

I'll also use the feeble excuse that I was so caught up on structuring and wording an essay - and it was nearing 5 a.m. when I read your post.

I have to apologise to you for my error.

It was very nice of you to post, and for your lovely follow-on post. Thanks for that :).

  • Watched The Hole 3D this morning with 12yr old daughter. As she clutched to my arm whispering "I don't like clowns" I have to say I was inclined to agree.
While she clung to me throughout whispering "I'm scared" she also thoroughly enjoyed it - gotta love kids and horror. :p

Although I am having second thoughts about Halloween now :)

Just re watched the classic that is Back to the Future. Had to write a 350 word review, and despite my initial fears at struggling to find the words I ended up struggling to keep it to just 350 words! Forgot how much I loved the relationship between Doc and Marty :p
Valuable life advice: never play chicken with a lion...the lion will ALWAYS win!

I'm not bothered either way about clowns but the one in The Hole 3D had me worried too:eek: :rotfl: Didn't you love the way they used the 3D? The way you saw things going down the hole but then they were coming at you. It was so weird to see something coming at you from the bottom so to speak.

I don't have children so can't speak with any authority but isn't it good for children to experience horror in a safe environment?

Got to agree with you about Back to the Future though I don't think it can be faulted though I'm willing to bet someone will :D

I thought the hole was terrible! the special effects and acting could have been better done by a 15 year old on a school computer. quite a pointless movie, which fingers crossed didnt, but be seemed to be left open for a sequal **vommits**

one or two jumpy bits, but c'mon if the noise level goes really quiet then all of a sudden is really loud, of course you're going to jump.

    1/10 for me!

  • Watched The Social Network today. Absolutely hated it. Not a good word to say about it, so I won't elaborate. I agree with the earlier comment about it - boring. I'll add that it was tedious and sad (in the get-a-life sense).

This is despite really looking forward to watching the movie. I should have stayed in bed. The only one good thing about it was that I didn't have to pay to see it. Would I recommend it - well, I'll leave that for you to decide...

Timberlake's acting is so wooden - he should 'stick' to music (not that I'm a fan of his music either).

I've seen far flatter 3D films GB. Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore was a compete waste of 3D effects and the other films I always refer to has gone straight out of my head!! It was a remake. The name of which escapes me but it had mythological monsters in it. Grrrrrr

Will somebody put me out of my mysery please? Either by supplying name of film or else just shoot me :A
