They did have ra-ra skirts, but they also had a gorgeous leather jacket - sadly/ thankfully it was too big for me but it was only £18!

  • Hope you have a lovely holiday BB.
Beautiful sunny day here - may take my lunch outside.
Boots offered me 40 hours! Blimey - a 70 hour week may not work. Said no and they offered 22.5 hours which is doable. I know I should be pleased but feel a bit grumpy.

Not sure when the staff discount kicks in but it is good when it does. I have an induction day on Friday so i guess I will find out stuff then.
Having a panic as I don't really have anything suitable to wear on Friday

Good afternoon, flying visit before the school run.

The clothes shop sounds fab, Squizz! Step awaaaaaay. :D

Lou, I am glad you have perhaps managed to get a bit of closure (even though I hate that phrase) on something from your childhood. I look at some of the people now who were popular at my school, and who were nasty to me back then and think '!!!!!!'?

Spotting my ex boyfriend on someone else's FB profile (a mutual friend) was quite a revelation too. He is still 13. Seriously. He talks like a teenager, dresses like a teenager, he still skateboards and listens to teen music...bless. :)

I am slightly bemused today because B posted a funny parody song he had recorded on You Tube as a sort of birthday present for a couple of his friends, and because of FB, Twitter and the like, it has been slowly growing in popularity. This morning though, it was Tweeted by the Richard Dawkins Foundation, and has had 12,000 hits and rising.

I will have to dump him if he becomes too famous, as I am too fat and unglamorous to be a celebrity girlfriend. :rotfl:

    Have a good holiday BB!!
