    Afternoon all

    Where you off to BB?

    Buns - Hows college going?

Been doing a bit of christmas shopping, just need to hide it all now. DH is off for his driving assessment with the mobility people tomorrow, hopefully they'll be able to get him driving which I think would be a huge boost for him, I know he's missed it. We can then go order the car  :T

off to Portugal Pooky. Same place as last year

    http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk/portugal/P4776.htm

for me it's the balcony and the quiet area. It literally is the last building on the prom and it's open beach to the left and then the prom in front and then for a couple of miles to Vilamoura going in the other direction. Where the apartment is placed it's mostly either holiday places or residential with a small number of locally owned bars . It gets a bit more British about half a mile down the prom but not too much, don't often venture that far in the evening though, usually stick to the little bars nearby.

The owner is going to pick up and drop back to the airport for free this year as it's a return visit which saved a few quid.

I wanted to use the t-mobile book shop for some ebooks but they work out between £10 and £12 each! There are a few free ones but most have a charge with them. The books were in my hand luggage bag but it's my case. Ryanair are such tight gits on their luggage allowance as well and the scales never weigh the same. Coming back from Mallorca in May my case weighed more than going out even though it had less (about half a doen book) in it!

I wanted it to be under 15 just so I knew I had a bit of leaway....you'd think being something like 4 sizes smaller clothes would weigh much less being all those inches smaller!!

Tempted to leave OH's birthday present behind.......that probably weighs around a KG and I can't see he'd care either way....yes, I'm going to say he can either open his present before he goes, when he gets back or he can carry it and open it..........it's wrapped.......will he trust me enough for him to carry a wrapped gift he doesn't know the contents of onto a plane.......;)

:rotfl:There must be a temptation to sneak something dodgy in there?! I had to take Christmas presents which I didn't know the contents of away last year, but as they were from my mum the worst thing we ended up unknowingly trafficking was mint humbugs! :D

BB I didnt take any toiletries when we went to Florida in July, I bought the essentials from the Boots chemist in the airport and the rest when I got there.

Pooky, it will be fab when you get the car:T

I have just come face to face today with a girl who literally made my life a misery at school (one of the reasons I ended up in counselling too) lets just say that her life hasn't turned out great, as I dont want to appear to be a cow.

.........And it shows, she looks much older than I do:rotfl: (retracts claws and pushed away saucer of milk).
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I think we should all think of something really embarrassing to put in there should they search the case. A giant tube of anusol? No, No.......treatment for pubic lice lotion!!

not much of a shopping area at Bournemouth airport, it's a small walk through area with over priced sunglasses etc........not even sure I can remember seeing a chemist section, it really is tiny.

Off to see Charlie to say my goodbyes and give him lots of hugs and kisses. I've cooked him some sausages as bribery not to be too sad at me disappearing :D

    You lot are bad........;)

Morning! I'm going to have the Bangles in my head all day now.

BB have you thought about putting your toiletries into little bottles, you can get them from Boots. If they're 100ml or less you could put them in your pockets too to get around the weight thing.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
