BB have you thought about putting your toiletries into little bottles, you can get them from Boots. If they're 100ml or less you could put them in your pockets too to get around the weight thing.

Thing is I'm off for 11 nights so it means buying everything there. There is a small supermarket just a minute's walk away but the stuff is expensive and I begrudge using my holiday money to buy stuff like shower gel etc.

I should be ok now, I'll just give my best Paddington Bear stare to any check in staff that tell me my case is over 15kg :D

Ooh I've just found the most amazing vintage clothes shop on my lunchtime walk - has some really nice stuff and really cheap as well! I should probably walk in the other direction :D

Step away from the Ra-Ra skirts squizz!

I cant say that I actually got pleasure out of seeing this person but it did make me reflect on all the times my poor Mum (and she was at her witts end through it all at the time) who kept saying "dont worry Louise, you will see your day with her". I know we were kids, aged 14/15 but the scars ran deep IYSWIM.

I dont wish bad on her either, it just sort of let me put the matter to bed seeing that she isnt this monster and has actually had a pretty rough ride herself.

Lou - Girls of that age are ruddy horrible.

I know I had a lot of issues at that age and it's horrible seeing my eldest DD go through it all too - last week all her so called friends thought they'd have a bit of !!!!! about her behind her back - which of course got back to her and they all decided that she's been seeing her boyfriend for too long now so they wanted to hatch a plan to split them up. Why would anyone think to do that? Evil little cow bags.

I'm actually reading this at the moment which is fab, it really brings home the good bits of being a teenager and it's reassuring to know that someone else was thinking the same things as me when I was growing up.
