Ever see that Family Guy episode when the salesman knocks at the door selling volcano insurance!?

"So perhaps you'd be interested in something no homeowner should be without - VOLCANO INSURANCE!"
  • If you're on run flats, what are you insuring against?

Just buy normal tyres, repair is what? £10-15.

Can I sell you some magic beans as well!? :rotfl:
  • Thanks for the replies
Run flats are non-repairable and the suspension is tuned for these heavy tyres.
Also insurance companiews view fitting "normal tyres" as a modification, they would need to be informed.
  • Thanks dacouch., good info on that post.

Did the salesman tell you that by any chance ?

If you change the tyres most Insurers would not have a problem with it assuming the tyres you fitted were comparable, it would however be best telling them.

Did the salesman try and sell you their grossly over priced GAP/RTI/RVI insurance as well ?
