Triker, I have c30 eggs to use so if you have any inspiration.... Profiteroles tomorrow I think
Serena - I would love to meet up if you can do North London some time?

I have been asked if I would consider opening the garden for the village next June to raise funds for cancer research  Has anyone else done this? In my experience these 'charity' events generally involve a greater spend than they actually raise funds. On the positive side it would give me a deadline to work to which might make me get on. I don't think the garden is worth looking at, but people are curious to see what we have done, compared to the previous owners who had been in for 50 years. The garden used to be known locally as 'Little Chelsea' prior to them taking over in the 1950s, and then they used to have the church fete in the garden in the 1990s so we would have a lot to live up to. *frets*

Decided to stay in so just disposed of three bags of onions, weep, weep, to get my curry base sauce on the go.

John Lewis sell goggles especially to wear when you're chopping onions :rotfl: DD wears her swimming goggles, which work perfectly ;)

We had a lovley day out in Manchester. The sun shone, and DD was seriously impressed by the uni and by the city itself :T

I've been to a friend's for supper, wine and Strictly :T Going to have an early night and finish my book :)
