Crafty keep saying it, in fact I might try that too :)
    Happy birthday penguin83

I must say I was not too confident with the Vicks first defence but so far it actually seems to be working! This mornings stung a bit but the cold seems to be easing off, lets hope it stays that way!!

Boys are out so I've done a few bits, just need to order some vouchers for London online but got dragged into reading MSE threads

Been and got little Ms present :) so that's sorted. I did an Iceland shop too in peace without the boys, forgot how expensive the Co-op is until I walked round there today but I resisted home bargains/B&M for now as I'm on credit card only at the mo so don't want to get myself in deep.

I think then another HHC before I get the boys, back home to sort them out into clean clothes etc then off to my Dads....I need to try to remember the way there......2 fields after the church I think....
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200

    happy birthday penguin83 !! (thanks jue x)
Another dreich day here, but I now have a watertight dormer:T

Had to be across town for 9am this morning - did a shop on way home - so just had a coffee and a roll - now need a plan for rest of day.

Controlling my spending so I have money to do the things that are really important to me is positive and empowering ( not a dull miserable way to live) If I say it often enough can I convince myself? :rotfl:
excellent news about the window Aunty what a relief to getit done properly before the bad weather really starts! Could you keep telling me too:rotfl:maybe you should put the bit in blue in your siggy to remind yourself (and me!) brambles are great maybe take gardening gloves for the thorns and wellies in case the grass is wet!
xxJoxx for the love of goodness that list is ginormous - and you get on to me!!!! well done for having the courage to post it hon and I know you have been chipping away at it - I sincerely hope you are not aiming to do the housework stuff all this weekend? And shouldnt sis be helping - you would soon get through it then.
pooh thats not good - have you got AB's to stop it? huge (((hugs))) and strength for the service.

well I have done something that has been on my list for ages and ages - I have defrosted the fridge and I am cream crackered. It was thick ice in and around the ice box so was hard to get it broken but got there and it has been washed out and everything put back neatly - musnt let it happen again!

1 x WM out on the line
towells and cloths from the fridge mess are in while I do a 'clean' wash.

going to chill for a bit.
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

    Afternoon all,

Sorry I've not been around this week again. I haven't had time to catch up with the thread, and probably won't do so as it's so long, but hugs, congratulations, birthday and anniversary wishes, and get wells where appropriate, and hello to all of my flylady friends.

I've had a lovely first week at the private school and it seems like I've always been there - the staff and girls are lovely - just wish I was there for longer! I'm only there for another week unless something goes dramatically wrong with the teacher I'm covering for, as she seems to be making a good recovery, which is really good for her, as she's getting frustrated being at home and not with her class. I met her this week, as she came into school a couple of times, and she seems really nice. We all went out to the pub after school again last night, and we did a lot of laughing - it was a really good way to finish off the week. The other teachers are saying that now they know my face, hopefully they will ask for me again in the future if anything comes up, and I will make it clear before I leave that I'd be seriously interested in working there if anything comes up in the future. It's a long way for me to travel each day (44 miles in total including there and back), but I think it would be worth it for the job satisfaction. I don't know how the pay would compare to working in mainstream schools, but I wouldn't have thought it could be that bad, or people wouldn't stay.

Anyway, flying wise, we've been keeping on top of the washing, and I've just done the food shop (although I've yet to do the meal plans, so I may need to pop out again to get some more bits and pieces where necessary), Moon has hoovered the downstairs after traipsing grass cuttings and mud through the house yesterday after he cut the lawns, and I've cleaned the bathroom. My Dad is trying to repair some more of my car at the moment, as the fan decided to give up the ghost this week, so I couldn't demist my windscreen, I also have a leak somewhere in the roof where water pours through, so he's going to try and locate it and prevent it. I've borrowed Moon's car whilst he is at work so that I can still go out and about. Think I need to seriously start looking for a newer car now, as I'm fed up with my car falling to pieces (my attachment to it is decreasng rapidly), and hopefully a newer car will be more fuel efficient too, which will help with my travelling costs for supply.

Plan for this evening is to change the sheets in the bedroom and wash my hair so that I'm nice and clean to get into them.

Well I'm off to locate some more food for my lunch - so far I've had a very unhealthy small block of applewood cheddar, and an activia yoghurt - not really a balanced meal! lol

All my love to you all,

    sexymouse xx

Lost my GUAG, not feeling great and AF is due a visit in the next few days so that could be why.

DH has kindly done all the kids runs and is currently at DS3's party, he wanted one of us to stay as he's going through a funny stage at the moment so DH is there. I've sat and knitted for an hour - so unlike me!

The promised sun has not appeared so I CBA to garden, think I'll do the paperwork, then the cooking, then the sewing as none of that is too taxing.

The sofa covers on the line are as wet as when they went out at 8:30 this morning.

    I'm home again!

Back from a week in Valli land - very relaxing and peaceful indeed, nicely rested and the flu has gone - might go for a run later

    Tomorrow's plan is

Clean the kitchen, sweep and mop the floor and bathroom too
    Hoover bedroom
    get work stuff ready
    sort out something for tea

Today is start the pickling process for a 5kg bargain bag of pickling onions - I'll be sniffling and crying away smelling of onions shortly!

Afternoon flyladies! I'm just popping in between clients to say I've washed a load of washing, cleaned the kitchen, hall, living room and conservatory floor after elderly dog had the runs in the night. Oh my goodness....the smell! Sorry, TMI:rotfl:.

The place is quite tidy. I'm contemplating updating my website. One of those jobs that I know I should do because it's basic but it took so long to do the basic one I don't know if I could 'go complicated'.

    I'll carry on contemplating.

    Sticky vibes for Sally xx

Spoons for pollybear (and big hugs too) xx

Healthy healing vibes for MsGnomey xx

Curlytop - I'll start sending sticky vibes now so you'll be extra sticky when the time is right! Hugs to you xx

And a collective 'money and good health is coming easily to all flyladies' vibe to you all xx

toots - I remember doing the freezer half of a friend's fridge/freezer that had got like that  and I am sure you shouldn't have been attempting it :naughty:

    I've cut the front lawn
Got the washing in - still very damp but should aid ironing and getting the covers back on.

    Made apple pie
Made the lasagne base so off to finish that next.

Can't decide whether to cut the back lawn now whilst it is dryish or hope for sun tomorrow.
