Morning all, got a bit done whilst I was making a brew.

    WM on

    a bit of worktop wiped
    chickens released and fed
    cat fed and let out
2 bags of rubbish filled and binned

Off to get a car radio today as I've been driving around without one for a while since it was stolen the other week. I really miss my Radio 4 when I'm driving so we're heading to Aldi as they have them in at the mo.

The hubby and I will tackle the bathroom ceiling as its coming down and I need to get some serious batch cooking done.

  • Hi everyone!

Back again after (hem!) a small interlude.

Thanks for all the 'good luck' vibes for DD: audition seemed to go well, so now we just wait and see.

This morning I must clean the bathroom, which is a horrid mess!

Pigger's list has loads to do with the study this week, so I'm just going to follow a list of my own:

Chuck out dead bottles; inspect the towels
    Put loo cleaner down loo
    Tidy the cleaning basket
    Shine the bath & surrounds
Put drain cleaner down the plughole
    Windolene the shower screen
    Wipe the tiles
Wipe the skirting board, door frame and door
    Windolene the mirror
Wipe the bathroom shelf and contents
    Wipe the sink
    Wipe the towel rail
    Wipe the corner stand
    Finish cleaning the loo
    Hoover the floor
    Mop the floor

Golly! Looks horrible put like that!

Anyone up for a HHC starting at 11:00am?
I'm starting a little early now...

    Good morning all

I have de-pooped the garden. The kitten has discovered the pleasures of al-fresco dumping - but on the lawn. So I have been out there with a plastic bag, wellies and a trowel;)

Three lots of washing out - it's cloudy, but high cloud and the ground is drying so it will, at least, be lightened. DD despatched to her dad's; DS lurking so Valli's cunning nooky plan might be foiled:rotfl: windows open and dot-to-dotting (although they are tiny dots) ongoing

  • Another dreich day here, but I now have a watertight dormer:T

Had to be across town for 9am this morning - did a shop on way home - so just had a coffee and a roll - now need a plan for rest of day.

Controlling my spending so I have money to do the things that are really important to me is positive and empowering ( not a dull miserable way to live) If I say it often enough can I convince myself? :rotfl:
