Santander 3.2% Flexible ISA online banking

I just opened a 3.2% Flexible ISA with Alliance&Leicester (Santander) yesterday.
My question is to those who had opened the Flexible ISA. I've just activated the online banking for my Flexible ISA, and it's showing as 'Direct ISA' under my summary. Is this normal or did he open the wrong ISA for me?

Both A&L internet banking and Santander online banking say Flexible ISA.
You've been diddled.0 -
Oh okay cheers. I was hoping since it wasn't on their website anymore it was just given another name (though I do realise there is a Direct ISA as well).
Guess I will pop into the branch again and ask them to change.0 -
I have been informed by Santander that this is only for new ISA and maximum £5,100. We can not transfer our existing old ISA to this a/c ?
Suppose they allowed to do this I will transfer all my ISA into this a/c as far as I am aware, this is the best interest rate for flexible, variable interest rate for ISA at the moment.
Could anyone confirm about this. The problem with Santander Employee sometimes you will get different answer from difference people. So you can not really believe what they are saying. This is especially true with their online customer services.

It's clearly stated on the main site's synopsis of the Santander ISA HERE.I have been informed by Santander that this is only for new ISA and maximum £5,100. So you can not really believe what they are saying. This is especially true with their online customer services. While this is currently the top rate, after a year the rate'll almost certainly plummet, so make sure you transfer to a new top provider then. The downside here is it's only for new ISA money; you can't transfer old cash ISAs into it, so if that's what you're after check the other top picks.0 -
As fas as I know the flexi ISA which Pay 3.2% was withdrawn in September. So If you managed to open it in October, it can not be those which pay 3.2%. But you need to check it with them

It was withdrawn on 4th October, having latterly only been available to those who used a Santander current a/c as their main account - see https://www.emoneyfacts.co.uk/news/savings-news.aspx?newsarticleid=199237As fas as I know the flexi ISA which Pay 3.2% was withdrawn in September. Mine says "Flexible ISA" on Internet Banking.0

I just check my Internet Banking. It is written "Cash ISA" so not flexible cash ISA. But in my opening a/c confirmation letter, my ISA is clearly stated Flexible Cash ISA.
dear Loughton Monkey, did you see your internet access from A&L or from Stander ?. I just want to compare it with mine.

Dear Baldur
Thank you for the information. Again This shows evidence that Santander Staff do not speaks the same languages, do not have the same standard.
I think I am going to give them a ring. TBH This really annoys me, they need to pay my time to consolidate the mistake they have made.
ADINDASFor comparison, from santander.co.uk (which transfers to an abbeyonline https page) mine shows as Flexible ISA (i2).0
