Debt not listed in bankruptcy??
Comments

The only reason I can think that they want you to call them, is so that they can try to spin you some bollux about the debt not being covered, in the hope that you can still be mislead/conned.
You have set out the position in writing.
There isn't any doubt whatsoever about the legal position.
End of...............
So is there any point/harm in calling them to see what they say?? is there any chance they are rolling over??0 -

It's possible I suppose?
But I have to be suspicious? Why would they need you to phone them for that?
Surely they could just confirm by post (as you have requested) that the matter is closed?

I called the Insolvency service earlier and am waiting for a call back, I did copy them in on my letter to Go Debt as well - I think I will call the OR again and see what he says - haven't even managed to speak to him since all this came up as I am a new case for him due to my BR being closed off so long ago0
-
I just rang the OR, didn't get the person who is dealing with my case but a lady said she will get something faxed over to Go Debt and also get the OR to call me today - will wait and see if they do0
-
The OR just rang me back, he has written to Go Debt to warn them off and he also said the letter I sent (thanks Fermi) was excellent and more than enough to do the job. He said it wouldn't compromise anything if I were to call the DCA so i did and guess what??? ............................................................................0

The lady that called was the Trading and Compliance Manager, she apologised for the mix up and they note that I was bankrupt after the date that the debt was incurred, she is writing to me to confirm the file is closed, she also said the agent won't be calling :j:beer::T0

Great.
I'm glad it was that.
Makes a pleasant change for once with a DCA.
Unusual for them.
Glad that is sorted. :jFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
