Has anyone else had a problem with the clubcard points tracking for this offer?
I have been credited with the points relating to to purchase (48 points for the £24 spend) but the extra 1500 points have not been added.
Contacted Tesco and they informed me they could take up to six weeks to be credited, very strange as I've never had this before.
I called them...to be told that the extra points offers would take at least 28 days to go on to stop people returning stuff, ie buying it just for extra points then taking it back for a refund...and keeping the points..makes good sense I suppose when you think about it like that. I have about 10, 000 points waiting in the wings to go on so they'd better bloody be in my november statement for my xmas saver, not waiting a whole bloody year for them!Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -

Your email to Tesco clubcard might include the following:
Tesco published an advertisement online which was an invitation to treat. The advertisement promised 500 extra Clubcard points for each and every HP ink you bought - this was an inducement. There was no limit on the number of HP inks you could buy. You as buyer made an offer to buy the inks. Tesco accepted the offer upon dispatch which is when they say they take the money from your credit card. Tesco entered into a binding contract by accepting payment and dispatching the goods. They cannot subsequently change the terms/ inducements (ie Clubcard points on offer). As they have had previous promotions (eg where you could buy a mobile for £10 and receive 500 points), there is absolutely nothing that would make the buyer aware that there was an obvious error. Also, Tesco had ample opportunity to check their advertisement before sending out orders. (Thanks dmg24)0 -

It may make sense, but Tesco did not have the above rule when they were doing the 1000 points on the phones. They are just being awkward.
Ain't it weird that they no longer send an invoice / statement with the orders. Not good!0 -
The order confirmation is pretty straightforward and details the points to be awarded.0

Had a chat with Tesco CS who said that anybody who ordered under the old 1 HP ink = 500 points offer will definitely get those points - when I asked how many were due to me for the inks, they quoted the same total as on my order confirmation, so somewhat reassured. Wait & see time, got the screenshots saved in any case ;-)0

Yes tesco direct rang me and said the same that we will get 500 points per ink bought.
