Who are the cheapest car insurance guys?
Apart from the companies who quoted £5000 for our 17 yr old GSon, when his Dad asked the Co-op they quoted £13000.00. I know there are a lot of young uninsured drivers on the road. Is this why? I always thought it was down to the accident records?

17 year old boys are an insurer's biggest headache. The risk of them doing serious damage to someone else is higher than any other group. Hence even insuring a £50 banger will cost £2k+.

I'm 23. BF is 25 with 6 years driving insurance and NCB.

Elephant.co.uk - Comprehensive, £250 excess = £666 *FULL UK License* (So that's with the NCB from provisional)
    Elephant.co.uk - Comprehensive, £250 excess = £616 *Provisional License*

Oh and the car is only worth £2500

Those are really good prices !

I am 36 , 10 years driving experience , 7 years no claims discount....cheapest i could get from elepehant is £1k and my cars a banger - 11 years old renault megane scenic !

Must be a "postcode" thing making my quotes more expensive.

Our three cars plus a camper van come to less than £1400 a year, and that includes my 17 year old daughter with her car.
