  • Hi
Just found this thread and have found lots of ideas for making for our PTA Christmas Fayre.
I've notice mentioned a couple of times the pints of socks but can't find the orgainal message saying how to do it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also thinking about doing the Christmas Muffins idea

anyone any idea where to get small wooden spoons?
    Thanks
    AJ

    Here is the poem:

    Our lager,
    Which art in barrels,
    Hallowed be thy drink.
    I will be drunk,
At home as in the tavern.
Give us this day our foamy head,
    And forgive us our spillages,
    As we forgive those

    Who spill against us.
And lead us not to incarceration,
    But deliver us from hangovers.
    For thine is the beer,

    The bitter and The lager.
    Forever and ever,
    Barman....

    Thank you so much
    AJ

    You are most welcome.

    Basic instructions.

    1 pint glass
1 pair men's thick black socks
1 pair men's thinner white socks (I used a pair of boy's white sports socks in mine)

Roll up black socks to fit bottom part of glass and stuff into glass.
Roll up white socks a bit looser than black ones, and fit on top of black socks.
Wrap in cello and add tag (I taped the poem to the glass then wrapped it) ;)

You do know if you sell food you will need a certificate and you will also need to be registered with the council

Here is one for monkey soup:

A Cheeky Monkey Shake just for you!
Add some milk stir it through,
Add banana and chocolate chips to,
And it will turn into banana goo
    for you!!!

This is not of my own creation. I found it about 2 years ago on this forum, but don:t know who it belongs to, so can't point you in the direction of who to thank.
