Can I be cheeky and ask how much you ladies sell your snowman soup for? I have made about 15 in the cone bags for a fair on sunday and wondered what was an average price?? I have made other things like cards and reindeer food etc which I have prices for just wasn't sue about the snowman soup

    Thanx in advance! :j
I think i've got mine priced at £2, but I haven't tried selling any yet so could be over-priced?! I have managed to sell cones of sweets at £2 though so I think people are willing to pay it.

I think I saw snowman soup cones priced at £4 in BHS the other day, so £2 is a bargain, and honestly, mine (:o)!) and the others shown on here look MUCH better!! x

I have just found this on the Grabbit forum. I have just ordered loads for £20 including a load of freebie papers. May be helpful to the crafters out there

I have no use for these at the mo, but I've gone ahead and placed an order nonetheless! :o)

  • I'm planning to sell my cones at £1.50 each. First sale is tomorrow, if they don't shift at that price they'll be £1.25 at the next sale...

    Hello
Have made last minute decision to make the snowman soup again for this years school fair
Kept the PDF that FlyingPig Helen sent me - a special one which said to add milk not water because I use cadbury's hot choc.
It has 2 labels on one page and I can't for the life of me remember how I got it to print out multiple tiomes on one sheet last year - I think I got it to print 6.
Are there any adobe experts who might be able to help before I actually go INSANE!!
  • I love the plates! (i cant quote it) What do you use to draw or paint the detail. Think I might have a go myself.

Loving the ideas guys. Inspiring me to start crafting this year.

good luck today Highland Lass :)

Thank you. Just noticed your message just now. Well it went quite well considering it wasn't really a nice night. The sales on the night plus the ones I've made to other staff and friends etc. means I am £51.62 in profit and still have a load of stuff to sell. Going to make another load of cards as I'm being allowed to have a table at our Sainsburys which has just opened. I'd like to think that in the end I'd have about £120 - £130 profit but we'll see. The best seller was the Snowman Soup as sold about 52 and have about another 30 left. Will let you know the final total after next Friday but would just like to say thanks again for everyone who has contributed to this page. You're all little stars.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

Well done Highland Lass, I am still bagging and labelling loads of stuff for my fair on Sunday.

Done the cat & dog biccies, and the Reindeer Noses, now doing the Reindeer Nibbles (choc covered raisins). Have printed out the ingredients of everything and stuck to the back of the toppers. Also have decided to bag up my icicles...they look really good!! Printed off the labels for them too, will bag them up tomorrow, too tired tonight.

Might do some sock cup-cakes toorrow, still not done them, we'll see if I have time!!

    Need to get off here,
    heading for bed soon

See you later over the weekend no doubt!

I sell mine for £2.50. They cost 84p to make as I use Cadbury hot chocolate and put in enough for two mugs. I find I need to times the cost by 3, in order to make a reasonable profit. Although, the items I buy in to sell, I usually just double the price.

I'm trying to raise £600 so I can take my Reiki level 3 course, I'm about half way at the moment averaging about £50 profit per stall.

Thank you to the person who posted about the little dogs, I sold 30 last week for £1.20 each.

Could I be really cheeky and ask for that template?
