Hya all, wow some great makes here, love the wreath raphanius!
Wow great result for the fair macpep1, well done!!
I had my first fair on Sunday, only made £67 in 2.5 hours. My top seller were the "Yappy Christmas" dog treat selling for 50p, followed by the scarves I knitted, @ £15 each!!! Really confused as to what people want. Though the lady on the stall next to me sold nearly £200 worth of jams and chutneys!!! The Christmas pudding lady on the other sidde of me did well too, not sure if anyone on the hall did anywhere near as well, though there were loads of stalls outside that I didn't get to.
Think I overcharged on my knitted icicle decorations. Thought they would have sold better...only sold 3Will post a piccie later once I have unearthed my camera, think it got packed into one of the fair-stuff boxes.
I was really wiped out by the preparation and day of the fair...it is only two weeks since my operation, so I probably should have taken things easier
The next fair is on the 11th, then I have another on the 16th, so I have more time to prepare for them.
Have a great day everyone despite the weather!!!

Had a great idea for a gift today. I wanted to get a friend something cake themed as she is cake mad and has for the past year given it up to raise money for charity, it is a real sacrifice for her.
My idea is to buy a cake display/carry case (which I have done in Poundland) and decorate it with a variety of beads, gems etc (got alphabet & doggy beads, gems so far). I haven't crafted for so long due to ill health and it will be so nice to do something like that again.
I also got a 1l jar which I will decorate for another friend and fill with sweeties.0 -

Sounds like you have all been busy with your fairs. Glad they have been going well. i have done a few but i haven't booked any for Dec as i need to concentrate on orders from my folksy shop and facebook page. i currently have around 30 orders to complete so can't physically fit anything more fairs in. I have made 20 sock animals in the last few weks and still have another 13 to do. i'm going to be dreaming of sock monkeys' soon!!!.
Anyway thought i'd share some photo's of some recent makes. Anything that needs instructions is usually on my blog if anyone is interested.bella and izzy 2 of the many sock monkey's i have made. i would recommend making these to anyone as they aren't hard to do and seem to be really popular
