  • Kaitlyn took £10 to her xmas fair and brought 8.50 home again. All the little children go in with their teacher for 30 mins before it opens . She bought a lucky jar and a small santa . When the teacher asked her if she wanted anything else she said no not really i like the things my grandma made but she'll make me some for free. lol

Love your stuff. When you say wax paper, is that the same as freezer paper?

Yes - exactly that. I got a huge roll in august on ebay and am still using it so it has been a pretty good buy as it did these, various shapes (inc the advent calendar) some tshirts and halloween stuff too.

Sorry Heatherbelle and keiss21 about your fayres - I know I would have been gutted! I think, next year, I will definitely ask organisers for previous visitor figures and where they are planning to advertise their fayres, etc.

Loving the sugar scrub and fantastic gift hampers. Really well presented.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • Hi everyone,

i have done about 7 fairs, some good, some not so good, I have been
asked to have a table at a preschool tomorrow for their nativity play.

do any of you think its worth doing it,
i do have a lot of snowman soup and reindeer poop ect left. there will be only 2 of us selling stuff and the other is a book lady.

i could possibly price everything at just over cost just to get rid of it all.
    what do you think

I'd do it. You've not got anything to lose by doing it. Hope it goes well.
