  • I had a disaster of a fair. £10 for stall, made £10 - so after costings per item and petrol (and time!!!) I was def out of pocket. Only 3 people through the door... shocking! The person really hadn't thought it through when organising and it was painfully awful.

So now I have tonnes of makes left. Luckily (or not so lucky) I have 250 presents to buy and wrap over next 5 days for 2 charity santas grottos this weekend - budget is £3 per child, so they will all be getting £2.50 worth of presents and some reindeer/snowman poop! At least then it wont go to waste.

I am so disheartened by it - I loved making the stuff and it all looked so fab all on the stall - but with 3 people through the door what can you do?

Lessons learned for next year - sticking with school fairs - far better attended

Aww so sorry to hear about your fair .3 people through the door is very poor i'd have been gutted too. The one i did was at a school but it was split into 2 rooms and the ones in the room that had all the entertainment did really well and the people including me in the other room did awful i covered my stall money but some didn't .
People in the other room were saying they'd taken over £300 and a girl i know who sells jewellery quite cheap took over £500 she was in the other room.

I felt the same after the one i did and i packed everything up and sent it to my grandaughters school so it didn't go to waste and i don't think i'll bother again sadly. But i did enjoy making them. My oh said just do a few for the school next year.

[/IMG]mines a big jar so i put in about 2-3 table spoons if you want to use a jam jar size id use between 1-2 test it and see how you feel after a bath if it needs more stir in more etc ive played mine by smell, and love the smell of honey.
oil ive used nearly 1 cup as i dont want to be sliding down the bath lol
do you know how i can post a piccy??

when using this is for the body not face, no need to scrub it into skin just simply gently rub on your skin, and use before shaving legs etc, this also helps your razor running over your skin easily due to the oils etc.

you will feel moisturised and gorgeous after enjoy
