I used festive paper cups from Poundland for mine, just trimmed them down like Kate did.

  • Hi,

i had my table at a local pre school nativity play today, i was feeling really ill but didnt want to let them down, im glad i went now as within minutes of setting up my table i sold all of my snowman/fairy/monkey soups that i thought i would have to bin, all of my handmade soaps and salts went too so only have a few packets of reindeer food and poop left over.
they have also asked me to have a table at their easter and summer fairs plus next years nativity play.

i think it helped that their was only myself and a osborne book lady there. its a shame a didnt make any more soups as they sold really well but i didnt want alot left over

    i love the trees

for mine i used rollout icing coloured green, you could also use coloured buttercream icing.

ive had orders for 3 more of mine to be made just before christmas :)
  • thanks for all the replies RE; the cups
i got some festive ones and im really pleased with them
think i will stick to those in future:D
  • I also cut down paper cups - in my case, gold and silver. I used some curvy lined edged scissors I picked up from Lidl!
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • I have been told by 3 different people at school that I should think about doing trees etc for a stall at the next School Christmas Fayre. Maybe I will next year - but I will be in the middle of my very last placement as a student nurse waiting on hearing if I have passed my assessments and if I will qualify I think my stress levels may be a bit too high next year. lol

But on a positive my MIL more or less offered to do them for me!
