Someone on another thread was wanting a poem to go with the Magnetic Pegs, so I've just written this if it's any good to anyone
PEGS
To learn just how to use these pegs
Please read this little ditty.
They have a million uses
As well as looking pretty.
The magnets hold the peg in place.
So that can’t be mislaid.
The peg holds things you want kept safe
Or pretty things displayed.Jack of all trades ... Master of none

In Aldi today I picked up:
12 candy canes @ £0.89
Marzipan bites [suitable for snowballs] £1.29
They also had Cadbury's snowbites at £0.89, the cheapest I've seen but I think it was last week's offer so you may be unfortunate
Lots of other special Christmas goodies came in today, too.0 -
hi everyone,
I have an idea to make my christmas cards but i need a little bit of help..and I thought of you :T
My idea is to make a "little christmas wish".
so far, I have the idea if making a small envelope and sticking it to a A5 (maybe) card.
What I need is a poem - I am utterly useless at this and something to put in the envelope to act as the wish?
I thought of something that will fly/float away or something that will burn (my original thought was a chinese lantern but they are way to big and I can't find anything in a smaller scale.
So far for my poem I have got:
I made this christmas wish for you...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Thats it!! Told you I was useless

This as a very simple idea that could be sent instead of a card, popped in an envelope or made into a parcel tag.
I've handwritten it, but it could been do on a computer using a handwriting font.
I've used a small wooden star - but there are LOTS of different star embellishments around OR you could make your own with dough, filmo or air drying clay.
You could also change Christmas Wish .... to Birthday, Wedding Day, New Years etc.
Here is the post for the Christmas wish card.0 -
Hi Guys,
Cuddles i have pm'd you. Thanks for the peg poem i may have to borrow that:D
Tamster great links for the frames thanks.
Ok i have my first christmas craft fair on saturday and i am getting really nervous now! I keep thinking that no one is going to want to buy my makes and might think they are naff or that every stall will be selling exactly the same as me so there will just be stall after stall of snowman soup, reindeer food and other MSE makes:rotfl:
Anyway here's a couple more things i have made and i really need to get on with some sewn items...V 12500 B 8300 N 1900 Oct £51/£1550 -
Brilliant as usual Tina!
Sure the Fair will be fine, but I know how you feel. I don't sell - have just made things for gifts, but I'm nervous about how they'll be received.
My Hotmail is playing up at the mo, but will send you an email ASAPJack of all trades ... Master of none
