I found these in B&M today 99p each, I thought they would look really nice with a cone of Snowman Soup inside and wrapped in cello with a nice tag. Makes a very inexpensive gift. They also had the CDM Miniatures

Fabulous idea - quick question i bought some mini gingerbread men from sainsburys but now am worried if i open the packet to repackage them into your idea will they go soft??

No, I have used a bag sealer and sealed them into cello bags before slotting them into the outrer cello bag, so I am hoping this will retain the freshness.

Absolutely loving this thread, you lot are such clever people, I have already started making some toppers for Snowman Poop and Reindeer Poop, love the Gingerbread Man label, could I please ask Cuddles to PM me a copy of that. And I am also loving the Festive Fairy Shake, will have many of these to make. Many thanks.

Happy to help if you PM me your email address.

    Hello all :j

sunrise........love the money wallets........think I may have to do a couple of those to put in my grandkids boxes. They always have a box each of bits and pieces and somewhere hidden among it all is a cheque...........might just lay it at the bottom.

flourgirl -thanks for that link. Love the brownie labels............doing a few jars of those and was after a label.

Got my fudge kebabs done.............had enough fudge, turkish delight, some sweets that looked like raspberries and blackberries and some marshmallows to do eight of them. Just right for the number of people having them. Had some red berry sweets left over and 3 marshmallows so did a sort of ''sweet kebab'' to use them up.......grandaughter will love it.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Angela you are so organised!!
Thanks!!!! I suspect this might be slipping by though!
wow you put me to same can i ask you how you make your bath salts

I used a recipe I found online - I mixed dry lavender (with a little essence added to strengthen the smell), epsom salts and a little bicarb (which I think stops the epsom salts sticking together).

wookeyhole1 - your calendars and sweetie bags look great!

Cuddles your ideal man is fab!

I love your money wallets sunrise27

I popped into the poundshop yesterday but was with hubby so was physically prevented from buying any more goodies!

However, prior to being carried fireman style out of the shop (OK not true but he did threaten to!) I did manage to snaffle a reindeer bell ring which I plan to cut up to use the bells for my elf boots though!

I realised today why I am still waiting for my flannels - I had forgotten to pay for them - doh! Hopefully they will arrive for the weekend so I can get these made up as I have 42 to sell.

Photos tomorrow when I have some daylight!

    Happy making!
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

For doing the ES mints a scalloped punch is much quicker than using a die cutting maching as you can only do one at a time on there and it takes longer that than it does punching paper. I use nesties if I am doing a few of one shape but not if I am doing bulk.

    ooooh, thanks :o

Is there a die for lettering does anyone know?

I haven't done ES mints yet (they are in my cupboard waiting for action though:rotfl:)

You can buy alphabet dies i have a cuttlebug one and 2 cuttlekids ones i use in the bug .

If you don't have a machine i think you can get alphabet punches but they probably cost loads.
