I am seriously thinking of asking the family to all chip in and get me a die-cutter, I would like one that does the boxes as I make my own fudge, tablet etc and would like something to hold these as well as doing labels etc, I really am clueless and I don't even know if there is such a beast on the market, I am planning to do wedding favours next year as well as I done them as well as all the balloons for my sisters wedding and really loved doing it (maybe it was the praise I got that I loved :rotfl:)

Any advice? I don't mind having to put money to it if the family are all willing to chip in together with hubby :D

Lisa from Day in the Life of a Craft Fair has put a Q&A on her blog about die cutters which is really helpful.

Tattycath, your ES bag looks brilliant!
L'il P, thanks for the link re the wand. That would be good to put with the milkshake stuff that Tina has put together too.
I still havent made anything apart from fabric giftags and some handmade non edible pressies. I keep buying stuff but never have time to make it (cause I spend any spare moments on here catching up!!) :D

No advice sorry, but I wanted to make my own butter tablet for christmas hampers, would be grateful for your recipe. There are a few on the web but i'd rather use a tried and tested one!
    Thanks in anticipation

I have a Big shot which I can make boxes on maybe if you look at the different die's and see which ones you like it might give you an idea of what one to go for? I can also do the labels on mine with the nestabilities, The big shot is easy to use and sturdy but for the die's for the boxes you will need the extending cutting plates. sorry not a lot of help but crafty fairy (lisa) has got lots of info on her blog about the different ones.

I have been working on this idea for a couple of days and wasn't really sure about the packaging but I think it looks ok. The poem is my own creation so if you think its naff..... tough... lol.... Its short and sweet and fits the labels :) The Glowsticks are from Poundland and you get 25 per tube, I have added a piece of card to the pretzel bag just to give a bit of strength and support to the glow sticks. The labels are cut with nesties and the fairy is clip art resized to fit the smallest nestie (about 1.5 inches)

I have made this tonight (will be the first of many!).

I saw the idea on a thread somewhere, and have seen them across the likes of 'organized christmas', etc. I bought a box of 30 gingerbread men for 99p today and set to:

Emmamumof2 Please Please include a Red Warning Label on the back of the Fairy Lights saying what they are and that they need adult supervision. I am not selling mine to the public but putting them in goody bags for my grandaughters friends and I have also included the label. You could also put a label on the box or basket you are using on your sale table.

Good luck with your sale x
