kitschkitty they are not for sale, they are for my grandaughter (7) to put in the goody bags for her friends. If I was selling them I would put a red warning label on "Not suitable for Children under 5 unless supervised". Anything sold would be correctly labelled ie NUTS, Vegetarian, Vegan, Soya etc or the age suitability. It is something we should all consider when selling to the public.
Snap i do it on all my gifts as well

I think most of us do this already I also have a sign to go on my table saying that all sweets may contain traces of nuts, just feel it is safer that way. :D

Lovely idea for glow sticks though Flourgirl and your poem is really good :D

If I sprayed hairspray over my finished collage would it be sticky? I need something that wont seep through newsprint - so varnish I think wont do. Can anyone recommend me a strong hairspray that wont be sticky (is there such a thing?)

I am working through this thread backwards, so haven't seen your colage yet, but you can buy "Fixative" spray from any Art Store. It is ecpensive though.

Otherwise you could try whatever varnish or hairsparay you have to hand on newspaper and left other materials from your college to see its effects.
  • hi all,

i bought my large candy canes today in family bargains/99p shop 15 for 99p

i also bought some mini candy canes in poundland 40 for £1

im just wondering what to use the mini ones for??
i am thinking of making a pouch like the bah humbug ones but what label can i put on them? candy cane does'nt seem creative enough lol

    any other ideas please?

well "Bah Humbug" is a well known phrase from "A Christmas Carol" so what about Tiny Tim's Walking Sticks? I am sure someone can think of a catchy title or poem to go on the bag/box?

    Hi all.............such brilliant makes from you...............sorry, can't remember now who's done what.........lol

Can anyone tell me which page the picture of the washing up kebab was on ? It was one of those I forgot to save and was thinking of doing a few as ''joke'' pressies for some of the menfolk.

Remaining placemat still waiting to be covered and transformed into kitchen organiser. Was all set and hadn't any decent paper the right size:( I'll get some tomorrow and that'll be done for young girl who cleans for me.
Been wrapping stuff up today and think I'll need gift bags for some of the men - what they've got won't fit in a shoe box(can't get the lid on.......lol) and don't think they'd appreciate a wicker basket somehow.:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
