I have been so excited about making flying pigs word baubles - unfortunately the photos don't do them justice
I am sooooooooooooooo pleased with them
not sure you can see what the word says but I have put family and will give them out as presents to family ( lol )
bought some gold favour boxes out of hobbycraft , put gold tissue inside and the baubles look lovely in them if I do say so myself
also had a go at the pegs and little star note

to be honest I know flying pig ripped her paper with the word on it but I always knew that just wasn't going to work for me and it didn't lol
so I cut them straight but am VERY happy with the result

the baubles are soooooooooooo easy but I'm hoping they'll impress everyone this christmas
I'm making a couple for friends with the word friendship inside
and I've got one left which I'm saving for my son and his girlfriend
they hope to move into their first flat together next year so will make one for them for their first christmas together

I think Im going to make one with sweeties in it for my niece and she can use it as a purse afterwards.

I don't have girls but think my boys would still love these! (especially full of sweeties!) Might make them so that they can be threaded onto a belt like a bum bag. Or give them a little handle for carrying their toy cards around in.
