FLOURGIRL the pack of 4 baubles with blue tinsel in from the pound shops fit nicely into one of your boxes . The ones lil p used on page 102. I have one cut out waiting for assembly so i folded it and tried it and it fits nicely. just measured and the baubles are just under 2 and a half inches .

The charms were from a couple of sellers on e-bay. I already had the “wish” charms, but it took me a little while to think of two other suitable charms to go with them, in the end I decided on snowflakes (£1.50 for 10 plus P&P) and stars (99p for 35 plus P&P), I’ve also got some wishbones on order (from Hong Kong!)

I am sadly lacking in the area of the poet, so this is the best sort of verse/instructions I could come up with, perhaps I should make my own wish ……to become more poetical.

To keep the threads all in place I have stuck them down with small sticky labels and then to give the whole package a professional look I have cut another piece of card the same size to cover the back when put in a cello bag .

To seal the cello bag I have used some snowflakes stickers that I think were free with a craft magazine a couple of Christmas’s ago.

  • Hi, loving everyone's recent makes!

I've tried looking for a local shop which sells the Signo gel pens but have failed :-/ Can someone please recommend an online supplier? I ended up buying another make of pen but it's rubbish and I don't want to waste more money.

    Thanks!

Fab makes everyone – I love them all, yet more things to be added to my ever growing list.
Li’l_p – well done on all your orders, it is so fab to make some money out of what you love doing.
Can anyone tell me where the best place is to get flannels for the reindeer soaps please. Wasn’t going to make some, but they look fab, so want to make my mum one.
Macpep1 – sorry about what happened to your car. Hopefully it is all sorted now.
I’m going up to Birmingham next Saturday to go to some of the Homebargain Stores as we don’t have them down here. I’m going to be around Walsall, Cannock, Wolverhampton and wondered if there was anyone on this thread with local knowledge to ask which ones were worth going to, or if there were any others worth a look. Thanks.

Try Wilkos 33p each and Instore 3 for 99p for the flannels.

I bought the Uni Signo pen and have not got on with it - found it very oily and not getting the white to flow properly. Might need to test it bit more. I bought it in Wilkinsons.

Also, to anyone considering buying those cupcake holders from the Malaysian buyer she was excellent on comms etc and lovely but mine didnt come - most likely postal service as she has refunded me straight away today but if you can make your own/buy UK might be better - she was extra lovely though so I am sure not her fault!

Has anyone done anything unique for Children in Need? I know this is Xmas crafting but you are all so bright and lovely! Ive done chocolate lollies with moulds from Lakeland for school but wondered if anyone had any thoughts for fundraising for that - although only 1 week away!? where does time go? Ill tell you where (!) in bed at 9pm, or earlier, when my little girl keeps getting up at 4am - but thanks so much to those who very kindly reposnded to my plea for advice re: that problem and especially the lady who PM'd me about the light - v v much appreciated - esp if it works! Gosh Ill be round at yours with a bag full of crafting goodies if it works!!!!!!
