I worry every time my stuff gets sold that no one will like it/ want it . The t bag cards i thought no one would get them if you know what i mean but every one sold.
I have another fair on friday and am really worried i will sell nothing as i've spent a fortune but everyone tells me not to worry so i'm trying not to.
We'll lets try and not worry together! Do ya know we'll sell all our stuff and be posting on here in a few weeks saying "I dunno what I was worried about" :rotfl: <but Bitsy is still silently bricking it>I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
well Ladies, after stumbling accross this forum (i didnt realise MSE had a crafting bit :j) you have all inspired me to start crafting again.
I have made a few christmas cards and last night decided to make my niece a christmas tree decoration and thought I would share him with you all.
He's not as good as some of your makes here as they are all fab but after so long a break from crafting I was quite happy with him.
sorry about the picture quality, its too dark for my poor iphone's camera!
let me know what you think... (but be nice :rotfl:)0 -

Wen-tom - that gingerbread man is adorable, really lovely
OK for those of us who are bricking it - it's time for a kick up the @rse and turn this doubt into something positive. I've been posting my doubts on another thread (one where positivity spews forth, thankfully) and I need to give myself a mental slap round the face.
We can do this. Our stuff IS good enough to sell, people will want to buy it because we lovingly hand crafted it just for them. If no one buys then it doesn't mean our stuff isn't good enough it just means our stuff isn't to their taste, their loss not ours. No one will die, the world will not end and life will carry on as normal.
Repeat this after me ad nauseum
mummyslittleboy - you WILL get everything done in time, don't waste time and energy panicking about it, slow and steady will do it xxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

He is lovely and I love the personalisation.:j
This one isn't a criticism BTW just meant to help, but I think you could get away with less blanket stitch and it wouldn't take anything away from the look, but would mean less stitching for you:TYou're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -
Hya folks, lovely Christmas makes...love the Reindeer pouches!
My SU punches have at last arrived and I have been having fun with them today!!
Here's a piccie of some of those decs I managed to get made up this afternoon.
I haven't tied up the bags yet as I can't find my red ribbon at the moment....think it is still in the loft!! I found a small bag of Kreinik mixed threads, so I have managed to make the hanging loops.
The middle pack show the "backs", where you can see the orange foil showing through the cut snowflake. It is an Xcut embossing punch I got from The Range on Monday. I thought it would have cut out a complete snowflake shape, but I like using it like this.
Been punching out more circles, and scalloped circles for the next batch...have some of Anitas 3D Laser stickers to add, so will make a batch for the kids. Will try and see if I can find the Milk Chocolate ES ones on Saturday..is the offer still on at the Co-op?
Right off to punch out more card shapes...think my snowflake punch needs some WD40, it's sticking already...though it could have been the 300gsm card I was using
Have fun crafting everyone, see you tomorrow!!!
these are lovely - my punches are on their way can't wait for them to arrive0 -
You may recall my clear baubles from Poundland that started life like this:
Well, here they are now:
The baubles were obviously £1 for 4, the stickers are Glitterations £1.29 (from local craft shop) and the snow was from a bag for 99p in B&M.
these are lovely
I've been making my baubles - I'm doing the words in them like flying pig did
couldnt' wait to make them and am in love with them lol will post photos later0 -

Thanks Lindens
I actually thought that myself and I think the thread I had was too thick.. I struggled to find anything that was thicker than cotton but nit as thick as wool to do the stitching. any ideas anyone?0 -
I think embroidery thread would be perfect DMC or Anchor they are both the same. type in embroidery thread on ebay and it will come up with hun dreds. Its widely available at haberdashers and markets as well as craft shops.0
