What did you cover your CDM miniatures with? I got 5 boxes and have no idea what to do, don't want to put them in as they are?? Or was thinking of putting them in my reindeer boxes as is?? I cannot get a stall on 27th as its not for an organisation so I need to get a !!!!!! load of stuff done for the indoor car boot on Sunday  and when I finished work, got into the car, closed the door, my rear windscreen shattered :o so glad wee man wasn;t in the car as I pick him up straight after work. Oh this is annoying I am having to use code to add things, think my laptop is playing up lol. I have been making some Christmas cards using gift tags bought last year in the sale. But I have also had a go at making some of the treat bag with the chocolate bars in. Trying to be MSE here is not easy but have had a go.

This is a lidl mini choc bar - they come in a box of 11.

This is my first attempt using bags I already had along with some cardstock not used yet. I have a 2" circle punch already but not any nice stickers. So I punched out a circle from some cute gift tags I have. My writing is terrible free hand.

This one I have used peel-offs I have loads. The little chocolates I have left the wrapper on and covered with some free Christmas background papers from a magazine.

I covered mine with some darkish blue paper that came from a crafting pad from Lidl. You can buy big/huge A1 sheets of this from any art & craft store if you are making 100's for about £1.50. You should get at least 25 from an A4 sheet. You can do different colours as well. I haven't finished with mine yet. I am going to do some in red too!

    To cover miniatures

I used three shades of blue A4 photocopier quality paper as it wraps round the chocolate quite easily.

Take one wrapper off a chocolate and either draw round it and make a template in cardboard to draw round ...

Or, as I did, make a note of the wrapper measurements and then cut new wrappers using a paper cutter or guillotine.

I left the original wrappers on the chocolates as they don't show once covered.

Using double sided tape put one strip at the end of the new wrapper , place the chocolate a little distance away from the tape.

Bring the tape over onto the chocolate and stick down

Then roll the chocolate onto the remaining wrapper, and place another piece of tape on the end and seal.

It may take a couple of attempts to perfect but once you've got a system/method going it's a doddle.

I've finished mine with Accessorize stickers (£1.75 a pack) and a bit of doodling with a white Uni Ball Signo gel pen.

    Hope this all makes sense.

Thats great guys, thanks, my accessorize stickers should be here (fingers crossed) by tomorrow, I don't have one near me so ordered them online, I got my Uni Ball Signo gel pen in yesterday and have already been playing with it :D I had to eat one of the CDM's to get the wrapper size

Thanks for all the wishes guys, I got home ok, guys in my work hoovered out all the glass and covered the back window up so I could get home, its getting sorted today so I took hubbys car.

genieuk. They look fantastic!!! I saw those in our LIDL yesterday. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I think I would have put 5 in a pack, if they come in packs of 11 thats 2 packs and 1 spare to taste :) I love the paper you have used it matches the chocolate wrapper perfectly. I have made a note in my ideas book for another time, thankyou.
