Hi all, loving the bah humbug's how are people making them? I get the buy the paper print strips on it bit its the folding and sealing into the shape I don't get! Thank you.
Also earlier someone recommended looking at Stampin Cfrat Fairy's website - which is fab! Are you on here? I LOVE your snowman on your poop bags and was wondering where you got it from? x
When I made mine I used this video from this blog (scroll down), a child was helping to make it so it must be easy:

Hi everyone
been busy finishing off my gifts ready for the morning.
i was messaged on FB yesterday about my gifts and donating some to a lady who is doing a raffle in aid of raising money for her daughters condition.has anyone done this before?
A Few people have mentioned this happening to them but I think most are saying no. I would check what she means as it should be going to a charity or something to do with the condition, I personally would decline to be honest I have my charity's that I do donate to each year, If it is a cause you would like to support it might be worth contacting them to double check before making any donations I do think you need to be very careful though:jmember of the thrifty gifty 2011 :j0 -

I often donate mine to people to sell for charity but not usually to strangers on facebook unless i can check that they do sell things for charity . I have donated things to people i speak to on mse though. Everything i sell is sold to raise money for the ear trust. In fact had a call last night to say the t bag cards and things i made and a pamper cake i gave them to raffle raised 550 pounds .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Hi all :j
Managed to get a bit done today -not a lot though but did three reindeer chocolate bars...........covered them with brown paper and stuck some small pipe cleaners I'd got left over from last year for the antlers. The lady reindeer is a paler shade (more like beige) with lighter colour antlers, a tiny felt flower at the top, curvy shaped lips out of felt.......I'm pleased with them............need some more choccy bars now............lol
Letters now stuck on index box I covered spelling out Recipes -recipes all inside so thats another thing done.
Meeting this afternoon so nothing done the rest of today................still, there's tomorrow and I must try and get into town to the craft shop and pick some nice paper up for kitchen organisers.:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Does she give you the name of which school fete? If she does you could maybe contact the school to double check and if you decide to donate you could send it to the school. To be honest I thought that most school raffles are for raising funds for the school I know on occasions they will do it for a worthy cause or a percentage of it will go to a charity the rest to the school but usually the school write and ask for donations either from parents or local businesses. Or at least thats what they do here.:jmember of the thrifty gifty 2011 :j0 -

Hi everyone. This is a great thread for inspiration - thank you.
Would anyone have a blank word document for bag toppers that they could send me please? I have been fiddling around trying to create something and have also got a couple of pdf's of other peoples toppers that they have kindly sent but I'd really like to produce my own - just can't seem to get the page right.
Thanks to anyone who can help. Will post my finished results!0 -
no she never mentioned the school hmmm
The more I think of this the more it sounds like some sort of scam, I know years ago when my husband ran his own business we were approached asking if we could donate raffle prizes but the letters were always on headed paper and usually the charity number was also on there so we could easily check it out. Personally I would reply politely saying due to you only being a small business as much as you would like to offer your support you feel that at this moment in time you are unable to.
If you do want to donate to a charity there are hundreds around that would gladly accept a raffle prize at this time of year.:jmember of the thrifty gifty 2011 :j0 -
