Hiya,
Hope no one minds but saw the bits about the sweets made in to noses and kisses bags and thought i would share the sweetie shop by me, its called Lantern Corner in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire and sells all sorts of pick and mix at real prices and not a fortune. Although they dont sell over the net yet i will have a word with the owner and see if this is a possibility in the near future. I hope this helps at least one person as all of the making you are all doing is pure brilliance :T
I know it well, its a lovely shop, (but no advertising allowed on here, forum rules
) Small world again.

Wow been reading this all day!!!
Fabulous ideas ladies, really beautiful.
A Friend and i have begun making xmas cards, scrapbooks and jewellery to sell but i now need to go back to working on gifts for this year as got a little carried away with selling.
I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this in terms of reindeer food, but i add bird food to it, it proved very popular last year with birds and children!
Look forward to seeing more of your creations and hope to share some with you too.:beer:0 -
Good luck tomorrow Hollie. Hope it goes really well and you sell loads!

Wow I love this thread!! I think Im about half way through it at the moment but didn't want to wait until the end to say hello
Your makes are wonderful and thank you so much for the tutorials, I need basic (very basic) tutorials and really appreciate people making the effort to help.
I can't wait to have a go at some of the things like the pegs and calendars, must admit feel a bit frustrated that i have no shops near me that sell the items though, I haven't even got a big enough Tesco's near that sells the Tesco value pegs!! So trawlling through the internet trying to find things that aren't going to cost me a fortune in p&p is getting a bit tedious so thought Id just do some post reading tonight
Have read the last couple of comments and wanted to wish Hollie good luck for tomorrow0 -

For those who are unable to buy minituares (spelling) or foil wrapped bars, take some Asda Smartprice Foil which is carp for real cooking but very thin and you can wrap choc bars in it instead of the plastic wrappers. It works well and looks good.0

Quick question, what are the white pens that you are all using to draw on your makes? When you decorate chocolates etc... are they just white gel pens or something special?0

The pretzel bags are just wide enough to put the mints into so they just lie in the bag one above the other.
You should be able to post links on here now as you have done loads of posts but you will beed to upload your photos to somewhere like photobucket and just copy and paste the link code from there.:D

as mummyslittleboy said i use dst to stick the circles and on the back i use the same colour scallop as on the front.
I haven't had trouble with them sliding down the bag they are a good fit.
i use photobucket for my pics too.
Hi Guys
Thanks for the answers, they are very much appreciated, heres hoping I will actually get a stall at the christmas fete in the village, still waiting to find out . I am still waiting on stampers, DST & pretzel bags, have the card and the chocs. I will try photobucket when I have got more things ready, I made some nice cone halloween bags which I was proud off, they looked unusual :rotfl::TGratitude is the best Attitude :T
