Hollie if she is doing it for charity she should have a number . When we were fundraising for my grandaughter to go to the us for her cancer treatment we had to have one and as an individual cause it was difficult but we were allowed to fundraise through a charity called andreas gift who are a cancer charity and had a number and if anyone was unsure of us they could email or phone them and check us out.
Now i raise funds for the ear trust and display their charity number on posters, business cards etc and any emails or anything i send asking for donations i also have a letter from them saying i fundraise for the ear trust.

Craftygranny I'm hoping to do some scrapbooking and have bought the book and some 'embellishments' but it's all the tools that go with it...and I just look and think 'But how do they do it?'
I think I'm just going to have to get stuck in...that is when I can tear myself away from all the creative threads on here at the moment.
Just beautiful crafts from extremely talented people.

That is probably the best idea. i bought a pile of scrapbooking stuff 18 months ago and its all still sat on shelves in the craft room waiting to be used.
My friend said the best advice she was given was to do a 6 x6 mini scrapbook first then work her way up she's brilliant at it now.
Being on here afraid of missing anything is stopping me doing lots of things . Must remember this lappy has an off switch.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

I'm ashamed to say I'm still waiting to get started - still scouring the shops for small holly shapes and Cadbury's miniatures without joy. However, I do have a stash of ES mints but they are going to diminish unless I find holly soon! Umm they taste good!
Theres lots of little holly punches cheap on ebay xLaugh Often, Love Much, Live Well.0 -

How do you manage not to spend all his wages in there lol . I'd be getting him to check out what i might need / want everyday. :rotfl:Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Oh b*gger
The one style of cards which I had to hand write stuff on the front is sooooo not going well. I am abandoning the idea as I just don't seem to be able to write it neat enough on every card. Going to have to change plans for some of my cards. So not what I wanted to do at this stage

Lol @ Craftgranny - we do spend a good amount of his wages in there - even with his discount. Everytime I go in there is new stuff in the food section he wants to try, lol and the majority of my nephew and neice's christmas presents have been purchased there!Donna

Hiya,
Hope no one minds but saw the bits about the sweets made in to noses and kisses bags and thought i would share the sweetie shop by me, its called Lantern Corner in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire and sells all sorts of pick and mix at real prices and not a fortune. Although they dont sell over the net yet i will have a word with the owner and see if this is a possibility in the near future. I hope this helps at least one person as all of the making you are all doing is pure brilliance :T0
