Was thinking of what to do as the red noses for Rudolph noses. My thinking was red bonbons but they dont seem very red where I shop.....then I thought of the red chocolate balls covered in foil but they seem expensive as quite heavy sooooooo now I'm thinking of buying red food foil and covering Maltesers. Anyone have any othe ideas?True MSE'r -Money Spending Expert0

I found this in Pets at home of all places- it's a cat collar - Poor cat I would never subject her to wearing it.
However the bells are delightful its a shame you can't hear it. I was so sure I could make something out of it I bought it, it was only 99p!!! When you think of the price of those little bells there must be 25 on here!!
Ideas anyone??You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -
It would be great as a jester collar, or a fairy costume necklace for fancy dress.Or it could go round candle sticks for a table decorationPucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0

Thank you Craftygranny, how do these look once on the pegs as they are 12mm and the pegs are 9mm?
I can't find one made up to show you a pic but if they overlap it will only be the tiniest bit as mm are tiny. I'll see if i have a peg downstairs to make one up later and take a pic .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Here are my efforts so far.
The pumpkin in the middle is a decorated cd by my daughter. Am thinking of using the idea and making christmas puddings out of my felt and foam sheets in a siimilar way.
milky bar covered snowman and reindeer. The christmas pudding in the middle is a chocolate coin covered in card. Think there's a bit too much glitter and it needs a much better holly decoration but i was practicing at work so had to use what was available there. oh and i will be adding ribbon rather than string!
Halloween bags for the trick and treaters. Cellophane bags maded from a roll of cellophane , the bag sealer cost £5 from Maplin but is heavy on batteries .
Bags could do with being neater to but as they are being given out to dd's friends i wasn't too particular.
Stickers were from poundland- one pack did about 20 bags, i even re-used the cardboard backing card!
Off to make soup with the insides of the pumpkin now
Thanks for all the ideas etc , looking forward to trying some more christmassy ones
