Morning everyone 'happy halloween'
well popped to aldi this morn got two packs of choc lollies, milk and white and was thinking of taking these out the wrappers and putting them into the re-sealable cello bags i have, they should stay fresh shouldn't they??
also i got some xmas mallows 3 packs lol there 99p each and if anyone wants pics i can put some on.
got my brown card from hobbycraft so can make a start on my puds today
got my xmas boxes from aldi aswell so an all round good morning for me0 -
This is my Christmas decorated box of Cadbury miniatures ...
I carefully took off the sleeve and undid it, then covered it in a Christmas 12 x 12 craft paper, they are a little thicker that wrapping paper and don't to bubble and wrinkle like thinner paper does sometimes.
I have then stuck the sleeve together again and put back on the box.
I have added a narrow ribbon, lacey paper tape and some flat backed gems - plus a wooden tree from a pack from HobbyCraft.
I'm giving this and a couple more, just as it is to the lovely cleaners at work as a "thank you"
I know that finding the Cadbury miniatures is hard - I got mine from Home Bargains and B M Bargains.
However if they are scarce I am looking into other boxes of chocolates that I could decorate in a similar way.0 -

finally got around to making some of the ideas here, wil post pictures later.
Has anyone got any great ideas for using up some felt sheets and foam sheets please?
Thanks LLL
Have you thought about making the felt into christmas tree decorations? That's what I'm doing with mine. If you're not that good a sewer you can use PVA to stick it instead.
I've been making these this morning, they're going to be little presents for my team at work, and probably OH's younger nieces & nephews:
I went to Ikea yesterday and got the jars which are the 4 for £1.99 ones, I'm going to fill them with sweets. They're like the cello bag ones but a bit different. I got the brown paper from the wrapping bit at Ikea after you've paid. I bought some ceramic bits which I wrapped up, and when I unwrapped it some of the paper was still in a fairly good state, so I've re-used it. I tried wrapping ribbon around the edges to embellish them a bit more, but I thought it looked better without so have kept them simple.

OOh yes please - if you can find anything else you could decorate in a similar way I would really appreciate it. I have spent weeks looking for Cadbury Miniatures without any luck yet. I haven't given up but I am getting very frustrated - if I do find any I will have to rip one open and eat all the contents in one go as a reward!!0
