Help, am trying to make some magnetic pegs, got the pegs, riboon and embelishments and had what I thought to be a brainwave with regards to the magnet for the back and bought some magentic photo paper. Cut it into strips and glued it to the back of the peg and all was going brilliantly until I tested the strength of it and discovered it was virtually non existant
What do people use for theirs? The magnetic strip in hobbycraft is too wide and pretty expensive. They do sell magnetic foam which they recommend for fridge magnets but am not convinced it will be any better than the photo paper. All suggestions gratefully received! Thank you

Hi everyone just thought i would pop in and say hi
I am finding today really frustrating as OH and DS are both on Isle of Wight playing rugby and I have loads of time to myself. I had planned on doing loads of craft but my course work is taking so much longer than expected. So instead of sat in the craft room covered in glitter and glue I am surrounded by lesson plans and response sheets - it's just not the same
Oh well, at least i know i will have plenty to do when the course is all done - which must be 11 Nov.
You have all given me such inspiration and i can't wait to do my snowmen body parts (am i allowed to be secretly smug that i came up with that idea :rotfl:)
Love this thread and the general friendliness, Will come back on later for more inspiation.
