Hiya
I had a good day yesterday, I made lots of jars of pickled onions, made 2 calenders, decorated a few sweetie jars and decorated some pegs. It really has inspired me this thread.
For the beer mat calenders, when you cover them how do you get the corners so round and neat ??0 -
If anyone is looking for blue bon bons have a look in local markets. They were everywhere in Dagenham market last Sunday, £1 for a big bag - and any other sweets you might like as well!!
Do people sell their Elizabeth Shaw mints? They all look amazing but really fiddly and I would have thought after all that love and attention pricing them would be really hard!?0 -
Hi, not sure if this will help but I got some mini pegs with wooden santas and snowmen on them from B & M . I managed to pull them off the pegs and can now use them as embellishments to stick on the sweetie bags.
Linda.
Hmmmm a bag of them are red and don't look as nice as the plain wood so I might do that suggestionmonkeysallsayboo wrote: »Hi all

I absolutely love flourgirl's christmas puddings - thankyou! I am hoping to do them as a craft with a group of older people but don't know what to use for the holly as they need to be really quite small to fit on the puddings.
I just wondered if anybody has seen anything around that would be about the right size?
Thankyou0 -
Hi Ladies, here is the picture of the Tic Tac Holder I promised last night. It is not my idea, but my take on one. I will sort out some measurements for you, again it can be made from scraps of card from your bits box0

I am hoping this will work ... Tis a picture of my first attempt at Christmas Cards, using decoupage ... If it doesn't work, I'm still too much of a newbie ...
Ohhh sorry for the super-huge size!!! Will attempt to rectify that before I post again~Ryan James - 25th August 2010~

Flourgirl- Love the tic tac holder. Such a simple idea but looks great.
ZMHoward- Your christmas cards are lovely! I have never used decoupage before but I love the 3D effect you can achieve! Fab!
The weather here is truly terrible. Grey skies and rain. However, today I do not have to be anywhere. I intend on staying in my PJ's, drinking vast amounts of hot chocolate and making some labels for my Snowman Soup. Perfect.0 -
