Afternoon all!,
I fell down the stairs the morning and have taken all the skin off my back and i ache now. alot. Realised i need to get myself a phone of somesort, as OH had gone to work and i realised i'd have been screwed if i'd really hurt myself as i have no way of quickly contacting the outside world.
i have spent the afternoon writing letters to send to our creditors to try and get our debt sorted once and for all, we thought we could do it ourselves, but we can't so time to get sensible!
I got given a rabbit on monday, it's a funny little thing, let it have a run about our living room earlier and it was zooming around everywhere, great fun to watch.
Hope everyone is having a good day! - just seen the time! doesn't it fly on a weekend.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Hester - Congratulations xxxx
Bramble - hope you're feeling much better - have a nice warm bath with a milky drink and then go to bed early. Put some painkillers and a drink of water by your bed just in case you need them in the night. xMe, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
Evening All
Congratulations HH! Fabulous news.
Well, have spent all day in DDs room - what a mess. Australia will deport her if she keeps her room like that over there! Why would she keep half empty bottles of pop in a drawer? Along with just about every carrier bag she has been given with every purchase ever made and 53 pairs of black tights the bin is nearly full!! Anyway, I have put the bed and furniture back where I want it so at least it is acceptable for visitors. She phoned this afternoon to let me know that she is ok and has met up with some friends already so all's well. Thank you all so much for your support and I am very proud of her.
Didn't do much washing as the weather is horrid so the airers are full for now, nothing important in the basket so will just go through it slowly. I was given a bag of home grown veg today by a friend including the biggest marrow you have every seen! Just had some for tea along with some of a roast chicken, very tasty. Just hope I can use the rest before it goes bad.
Hope you all have a good Saturday evening, will try to watch Strictly but still not too keen on it, will not be watching when Gavin Hensen is on as I too can't stand him!
Take care XX0 -
evening everyone
Am feeling so much better in my self as they say, wound on back doing ok too, district nurse says I can dress it myself, yeah right, its the middle of my back inbetween shoulder blades :rotfl: Oh will do it before he goes off to work tomorrow and then it stays in place till he comes home to re do.
Bit of sadness today, my uncle has died, although I have not seen him for years have kept up to touch through my mum. My mum is very upset and I am upset that I am too far away from my mum to give her a hug.
OH is being specially nice to me today as I am very tearfull, wish I could be with my mum.
Congrats to Hester
OH is cooking tea tonight, pork chops, veg, roast sweet pots and he has made a creamy lemon pie from the weight watchers sitewhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

I have been MIA for a week, quite a hectic time with a visitor, OH landing in hospital thanks to an idiot calling an ambulance when he had a dizzy at the bowls club. We travelled to Leicester on Monday not a good journey, traffic and bad weather. We went to DD1's for supper...Tuesday DD2's for lunch visit to a friend for a catch up chat and then to another friend for tea....phew....wednesday we took the car in for service, visited another friend.....went to get my bridge checked. We decided to go back to our accomodation, we both fell asleep....back to collect the car and DD1's for supper.......Thursday we were at a friends for lunch and then went on to see DS2 and DGD, we had bought her a Scots doll which she was very pleased with. We had supper with them.
Yesterday we collected DD1 and SIL to drive back with us, in torrential rain, loads of spray from the heavy goods vehicles, horrendous conditions......I was so pleased to see our little cottage, light the fire and shut the Curtains against the weather.
Today has been a really nice day, I got 3 loads of washing dried, two still to go.....I have the bed linen to iron but the rest can just be folded and put away.......supper tonight was sausage, mash cauliflwer clebrease and carrots, apple crumble and cream.......I am exhuasted!!!
I have applied to have a stall at the Christmas market in the viallage so before we set off yesterday I went to the fabric warehouse for some christmas fabric and some more shabby chic cushions. I need to get some card blanks to do some cards as well......looks like I am going to be busy. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
