NPM - what can I say, fab fab fab!!! I've just had a wee dance around in the kitchen. Can I suggest another one (only to indulge me actually?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bif32jO5MiM (the singer comes from the same place as my OH, as he never fails to mention when I play it?
I don't know which one I would chose, the Londonboys is cheesetastic and fun and light, and yazoo is simply a great song. Why not have both? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -

Ooh might have a look there DG thanks for that;)
JackieG glad it made you have a dance:rotfl:
I love the London boys song and although cheesy the words to the chorus are right for a wedding. Does your OH know Roddy Frame or just come from same place? I love the song Oblivious...used to be a fave of mine when younger(showing my age now:o)
scuttles off to Google handfasting ceremony:o:cool: a la Hester0 -
No he doesn't know him, he's much older than OH. I think SIL did though. Oblivious is a great song. My DS thinks you should go for London Boys, although he is :rotfl: at the hairstylesIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

am just about to get OH to listen to songs to finalise the songs for ceremony and for first dance. I will them write them down and not listen to anymore or change it;)
I have just asked if he will have London boys for first dance and he pulled a face and said it is a bit of a gayboy song.........quite a lot of my music is like that as I used to be an HIV specialist nurse and spent way too much time in gay clubs:cool: in Manchester.
right off to finalise it and will be gald to get it done :rotfl:0 -
:jCongratulations to Hester& The Minder.
Something of a lazy day today,we went into town and the market this morning,as DH said he would cook tonight. He fancied Lebanese,as we went to a Leb Restaurant while in France and he was very impressed,so got the stuff for that.Luckily he tried his bank card in the machine outside, and it would'nt work so he hurried back to the bank with 15 mins to spare, they checked it and couldn't read it so have ordered him a new one,and let himhave his cash.
By this time he was feeling a bit frazzled so we got the M n s meal deal for tonight, and he'll do the Lebanese meal tomorrow.DSons are on a birthday do in Manchester so won't see them till tomorrow. So feet up and X Factor tonight.Hope you enjoy your evening.x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Afternoon all
I'm glad I got my washing in before I went out as it started to rain on my way home. I met the girls for lunch and wander round shops. On my way back I stopped at B&M's for some curtains (90x90 cream ones only £14.99!) which will go in my bedroom. I also got a vase to put my tree/stick lights in for a fiver.
I'm staying in tonight and have Strictly and X Factor programmed on the tvI can't wait. Oh and yes I do dislike Gavin Henson, I used to socialise with him occasionally few years back as I used to date one of his teammates, and he is such an arrogant so and so! I have a pile of magazines to read too
.
Have a good evening all

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I didn't think you were the type to develop such a strong dislike for someone "off the telly" ! I on the other hand am, and also dislike him intensely! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0
