Just wondering if anyone suffers or has suffered from this
before anyone says it i'm not asking for medical advice or anything have had everything checked by G.P and i'm all normal just get thrush very frequently they are suggesting longer term anti fungal meds.
I object to that and think I'd like a natural solution or supplement first like the anti candida type but there are so many about and i don't know where to start  its all very confusing tbh looking more for preventative measures than treatment for a flare up. This is causing havoc with our 'private' life and we are completely fed up with it. I'm obviously predisposed to getting it but I desperately want to stop it or at least reduce the number of flare ups I have (probably have it about twice a month on average and no real pattern to it either) I get it even from just being touched by OH *down there*:o
Anyone got any ideas or recommendations ?

thanks hot.chick I hope so too I just can't work out what is the best one to have and being MSE I don't want to be wasting money on useless remedies/supplements and I have no doubt there are plenty of those about.

If its something which keeps coming back, speak to your doctor to rule out any underlying cause or anything you could be doing without realising. Some times what you eat or don't eat enough of can cause things like this- not a medical expert, just suggesting you ask your GP or NHS Direct.0

Hello OP,
You poor thing. It is hideous when this happens. If you ask your pharmacist, I think they will be able to advise you which acidophilus capsules you should take.
A word of advice - in case you didn't know, candida THRIVES on sugar and yeast in your diet. If you can eliminate these, you will almost certainly see a huge improvement...

Has your partner been treated for thrush aswell - otherwise it will just be passing backwards and forwards all the time.0

Definitely waht hethmar said. If your OH has it, you're probably just passing it to each other. You both need treated. I dont think guys get as severe (if any) symptoms0

I've found Balance Activ works for BV but its expensive at £9.99 for 7 tubes. I haven't found any cheaper/ more natural remedies but will try the above. Trouble is sugar and yeast are in most yummy foods! lol
For me I've also found baths can trigger thrush, but watch also which shower gel you use, it needs to be balanced, my dr recommended Simple which I have started using but still get flare ups.
HTHLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Also, unflavoured natural yogurt on a tampon inserted is said to help with the itching due to the good bacteria calming it down. And cotton underwear (no thongs/g-strings) And not using soap or washing too frequently as this messes the balance up too** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

I used to be like that when i took the pill must have imbalanced my system and as soon as i stop the pill i never get it.
But you need probiotics and natural body wash as these will help the irritation.
Garlic is anti fungal, try eating more garlic laden foods. A bath with cider vinegar, tea tree and bicarb of soda in it it sorts out the PH of your bits.
The live yoghurt on a tampon is really good and helps loads.0
