We are at a travelodge which has flatscreen lg tv which has been locked by travelodge as pluggin a dvd or ps3 in may cause damage!! Such a stupid reason. Can anyone tell me how to unlock the tv as we r in the middle of nowhere and have at least 10 hrs to pass!
Many thanks in advance

Any idea how it's been locked? Physical lock on the inputs? A custom remote-control that doesn't contain the buttons necessary to change to the auxillary channel? An RF filter on the back of the TV that blocks certain channels?
I have a feeling that you won't be able to defeat the system without extra equipment/cables/IR transmitter...0 -
You carry a dvd player/PS3 on your travels or is it a laptop you are trying to use?0

We have got a PS3 with us as we have been in holiday in Dorset and took it with us to play games and watch DVDs
There is nothing on at the cinema we want to watch and there is nothing on TV that we want to watch. Plus we are trying to save money by bringing DVD's games with us.
We booked this travelodge a while ago and was told that we could plug a dvd player or ps3 in. This therefore passes today, as we will be back on the road again tomorrow.0
