  • Hey, couple of quickies - firstly, i bought a couple of clearance items but i'm not happy with them, can i still return them? Also, can i return individual items from the xmas party pack? or would the whole pack have to be returned? Secondly, where have all the footworks products gone? they are not in the next few books which is annoying as i was going to have a foot spa party but its a bit pointless if we dont sell the products anymore?! is it just because it is xmas and they will come back in new year or have they completely reduced the product range?

    Thank you :)

Well, I have got only one order besides f&f. This is my first time doing Avon and i had only one week to do c16, which at first I was upset about, but then i saw all the great sales and realized that i could just buy loads of stuff for ME and for xmas. Lol. I was amazed at how much cheaper a lot of the bath and body items are, than at Boots (which is where i normally go). I also hadn't bought any makeup in over 2 years (I know that sounds crazy, but i hardly wear any) and it was time to get some new items. So really half my order is for me and the other half is f&f. It's stuff i would have bought anyway, but now i am getting it for way less, so i am happy about that!

I tried to do a few roads near my house, but most people when i went back who actually were interested, wanted to keep the books for a while and have another look through them. which is good, but wouldn't help me reach MOV on this campaign. I also got quite a few 'no thank you's and a few books left out (which was kind of them). I put out about 30 books for c16 and got only 9 back... so i'm hoping that some of those people who kept books will order in the future. I found that knocking on doors on a Saturday late afternoon yields the most doors answered, so I did get an idea of what kind of ladies live there and whether they are truly interested or not. I was also able to see what houses have bachelors living there, who look like they never even bathe or shave, to say nothing of using Avon for Men. LMAO. All useful info!! I took lots of notes for my spreadsheet.

I am disappointed at not getting more orders, but to be fair, one week is not a lot of time. I am fortunate to have my choice of streets to try, since according to my ASM i am really the only rep in my immediate area. The trouble is buying the books... i don't want to be buying 100 books each time!! What do all of you do, who have loads of area to canvass? do you just leave a calling card or do you knock on each door to ask if they'd like a book? :A

I was wondering about the foot items too. There are a few in c16 but only one page. I had a customer ask about the 'big tub of foot cream' Avon apparently used to do a few years ago. We couldn't find any foot cream in a tub, and she's one of those people who only buys the same thing over and over.. so she wouldn't even look at their other foot creams! Lol. I am going to try and get her a foot cream sample to use and hope she gives in next time.
  • With the clearance offers I know we're not to buy them to sell on, but can we buy them as gifts for customers?

Also when ordering if something has a yellow dot and is delayed, does this mean till your next delivery or do things turn up in between as a seperate delivery if they come in stock? (body illusion leggings - so I can't see there being an alternative)

Sorry for all the questions I seem to be asking lately, hopefully one day I'll be able to provide some answers!!

Avon sometimes brings out a big kilner jar of cream http://reviews.avonshop.co.uk/9028-en_gb/32092/avon-planet-spa-african-shea-body-balm-kilner-jar-reviews/reviews.htm usually around Christmas time - haven't checked to see if they have it this year.

Yes, you can buy clearance as gifts for customers.

Yellow dots means it may (or may not!) turn up with your delivery. If not, it may turn up with your next order or the one after that (no way of knowing). No inbetween deliveries unless you add additional orders or have immediate replacements for damaged goods.

    yes you can.

no, you would have to return the whole pack. The only items you could "return" are ones that customers have actually bought from the brochure, not your xmas pack and were "unhappy" with and return those ;)

not sure, will have to have a look through the books to tell you.

    Thank you :)
