Kitten claws - yeah, I wasn't that impressed by the jewellery either (I also got the party pack). But then Avon's jewellery range isn't really my taste so, say if I really liked something I might not be that bothered by the quality, but in this case I noticed how light it was.

I've got my backorder people on C16. They've got the Christmas booklet with it so even though the book's not that Christmassy (and they might not mind since it's only October), they've got the chance to order some presents early. I split my current and backorder customers by area so the backorder people probably won't notice they're on an older brochure. My grandma said she's not thinking about Christmas at all yet (and I was asking about who's going where, which usually has to be sorted out early since our family's spread out), so I think there'll be plenty of customers just wanting to order non-seasonal things.

someone mentioned somewhere that the avon bras are made by the same manufacturers of the M&S Bras? Not sure how true that is, but it would be nice to think it true.

Oh yes, I am giving out my C16 and C17 books, not wasting my books!

So close to £800 now....all family orders in...I know I have one to come from work so hopefully thats for at least £5 then I'll be happy lol!

am bricking myself about this avon party! but told one of my customers yesterday and she is a qualified manicurist! So she is going to do manicures on the night for me

I'm so pleased - I think running the offer of "start your christmas shopping now, spend £25 or more and get a free perfume" worked...although not that many people qualified (about 7 out of nearly 60 customers lol) - loads of people have ordered something, even people who haven't ordered since early this year, so it must have got them to look through the book.

When is your party A? I'm sure it'll be fab, especially if you're having manicures now - make sure you have all the avon colours there

yes I was going to order the popular Avon nail varnishes, I sold a lot of wicked last year!

I have a friend who is hiring the hall jointly with me, she is a qualified manicurist too, but she does the specialist stuff, the fingertips with stars, etc. the other lady just does manicures.
