Nearly finished my second campaign and have over £300 worth of orders, which I'm really pleased with! I've gained several new customers this time, from territory I hadn't covered last time, and also people who didn't order the first time, now deciding to order. I still have more territory I haven't covered yet!
Really enjoying it. It doesn't feel like work, but more of a hobby!
I've just invested in a sort of shopping trolley. It is very stylish though, and was £20, so not too pricey. I thought it would be great for taking out brochures, and also delivering orders, now that I have more customers to get around!0 -
Just to add that I saw some funky trolleys in Dunelm Mill last week. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

MoneyMakers from Hello Tomorrow are billed 2 campaigns later than ordered, ie order in C17, you will be billed in C19.
Excuse the pedantry but there is no C19. There was one in about 1995 though, I believe. A C17 MM will be billed with C01.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Hi all. Does anyone have a link to the C1 brochure. My order goes in on Tuesday and not sure how many to order, it will depend what's in it. As the delivery for this one is 17th Dec customers might not want to risk Xmas pressies being out of stock, so might just order enough brochures for the regulars.
Also has anyone ordered the Avon paper bags recently? I ordered the medium ones with my last order and the quality is appauling. I still have a few old ones left and they were lovely thick white paper, these are thin and yellowy coloured (cheap and nasty). Shame on you Avon!0 -
Thank you Aureol for the answers. ;-)
A young customer has just asked me if Avon do a product to relieve 'bags' under her eyes. I know they used to do an 'eye block' environmental protection cream which was in a small green tube but i cant find it in the book. any ideas? thank you.DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Eye creams for younger people:
1. ANEW 30s eye cream
2. ANEW Clinical Eye Lift
I was doing some research to see which would be the best cream for me (25), and on the Avon online shop there were lots of 18-24 year-olds saying they were using ANEW Clinical eye lift.
Avon bags - I don't mind the medium paper ones, but then I don't have the better ones to compare them to. I found I could fit 2x250ml shampoos, and some other products in a medium bag and it held fine.
Rant begins:
Did a collection today, mostly from non-customers so I wasn't expecting great things. However...
- had to leave reminders for customers and people who had specifically asked for brochures
- sealed bags left open. Good job it didn't rain.
- someone put an extra note in rather than ticking my (very obvious, very big text) note where you can say you don't want one anymore. The note can be read without opening the bag so they must have known it was an option, but they decided I needed a note in BIG CAPITAL LETTERS UNDERLINED so I'd get the message.
- and the old chestnut: people not answering the door when they're clearly in
Rant ends.
I got one order, which I discovered when I got home, so that took the edge off. Got a few more "no more"s from people, some who've read past brochures.
I also didn't enter into Rep Wars on one of my streets, which I was a little concerned about. It was the one I was told I could definitely do, but I spoke to a couple of customers (not mine) on the street who warned me off (nicely) and said someone already did the whole street and had done for years. Clearly not because I've spoken to a few people there who haven't ever seen one.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Hi ladies
I went out this morning canvassing...i go early mornings when people aren't around as I hate people catching me putting brochures through the door - as if they'll shout at me or something!
Took my DS with me (5) who had a great time shoving brochures through.....although how many people he woke up god only knows!!
So that's all my C17 and C16 brouchures out until Wednesday - can have a few non-Avon days now! Doesnt half take over your life.......Avon Representative October 2010: C16: £276 :T C17: £297 :j0
