Well hubby did his first deliveries yesterday and he managed to get all of his customers in and with the money ready as well. Lets hope this continues. Also two of his customers used to be reps themselves. One of them is a guy who borrowed someone else's book to look at and order from. Hopefully they will continue to order from us!:j
One of the ladies also was telling hubby where this other rep used to go and telling him where there are better streets to try. So am going to carry on with our current area for a bit, then maybe try and get this other street that has been recommended.
I have set up a FB page for our Avon but haven't done much to promote it yet. It is Avon Eton Wick if anyone wants to add us.DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!

Ok so .... I've had my email through telling me my account number and to register so does that mean I've passed Avon's credit check (which I was so worried about!)?
If it does does anyone think it's worth doing an offer with the 1st lot of books I put out? I was thinking of along the lines of 'Place an order over £x receive a free gift' then ordering some shower gels or something like for anyone that does.
Is it worth doing this in my first campaign or is it more worthwhile waiting until I'm more established?
Really worried no one's even going to order! :eek:0 -

I think once you have your account number that means you have passed the credit check but not entirely sure.
However, on our first brochure drop we did an offer of spend over £15 get a free gift. The free gift depended on what the customer had bought, but it proved very good as all customers who ordered spent over £15. You can only try and see if it works. I would do a little note introducing yourself and saying as an introductory offer spend over £x and get a free gift.DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! Hey all, my facebook page is Avon Exeter. I have added those of you that have given your links on here. I have had two new brochure requests from it so far and it's only been a week
I pick up those books on Monday so fingers crossed for orders. I have also done a promotion on my territory this campaign of introduce a friend and get a free gift for yourself if they spend over £10. I have 2 new orders from that already
) I used the cards that I had made up by vistaprint, they are amazing quality, and all for the price of P&P. Well worth it
Everyone loves a bargain :beer:0 -

Lozza, can you answer the question about back ordering MMs? Can you?0
-
Depends - unless it says in the small print that you can't back order, then you'll be able to. But usually they work it so that by the time the products are in the brochures, its too late for you to even back order the MM, they're sneaky that way
When I did the MM for lotus shield, I ordered more than I thought I'd need, I did offer them at £4 rather than the brochure price of £5, as I figured even if I didn't have enough from MM, at least I'd still be making something from selling them as if I had to order any from the brochure, with a 25% discount they' be £3.75 so at least I would have earned 25p lol.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
