I normally wrap my freebies in tissue paper tied with a bit of ribbon. I buy them from the pound shop. Just to make the freebies stand out.
I'm thinking just before Christmas I'm going to wrap the freebies in wrapping paper and thinking about doing a small pressie for all my regulars.
Great idea thank you. I've booked the day off when my delivery comes as annual leave - I'm that convinced it'll take me all day!Avon Representative October 2010: C16: £276 :T C17: £297 :j0 -

I am lazy and just put them in the bag and tell them they have been given a free gift, but Elliebee, in her hints and tips, suggests wrapping in cheap tissue paper, ie from the 99p or Poundland shop, and then putting a nice shiny sticker on to seal the paper, and then the customers know you haven't put it in by accident, and it is meant for them.
Last year, I gave my regulars a little gift, I spent hours wrapping them in wrapping paper! They were pleasantly surprised and appreciated them. I got a few xmas cards too, which was nice, and I gave them all a Seasons Greetings card, in case they don't celebrate Christmas.
Looking at my statment I made £584 in sales to 17 customers last C17! I would love it if I made that much this time!0 -
Think I'll go with tissue paper and a thank you sticker, on shower gels or bubble baths, at this rate I won't end up making anything - there's so much stuff I want too!! Still I suppose the novelty of wanting everything will soon wear off - hope so anyway!0

Hmmmm - are we the same person? I've also gone down the free bubble bath/shower gel route! I got excited seeing my 60 quid commision then realised by the time I paid out for everything I'm only left with around £40..but better than nothing!Avon Representative October 2010: C16: £276 :T C17: £297 :j0 -

There was me getting excited about £261!
but when I first started Avon, my first campaign, £0, my second campaign sales £38.... Campaign 17 for me was in nov, I started in March! And I have never made that much again!
So get very excited about your £261! that is something to build on!:D0 -

I don't buy anything much anymore... you learn to stick to a budget or just have so much stuff from creative ordering, etc, that you don't need to spend so much
Can someone please tell me why do my customers hide my money in my books? I never flick through them to check if they have hidden my money in there! I have had a text tonight, saying I put the money in your book, which I posted through your letterbox! I could have given that book back straight out! and lost my money!0 -
Just started up on Tuesday, have already had orders back, am really chuffed!! Haven't an account number yet, how long before this comes through? I need to put an order in Wednesday next week at the latest and I know I need it to do that.
I am going to order bags to pack orders in, do I need to order anything else urgently? I am really enjoying this and hope the ordering goes smoothly and everything comes, so no one gets disappointed!!
This thread is brill, thanks Ladies :-) xx0 -

Hi
I'm a newbie too...i was panicking about my account details, my ASM brought them when she came to do my training (about 7 days after sign up).Avon Representative October 2010: C16: £276 :T C17: £297 :j0 -
such a good idea! but I am one of those that needs it visual on paper. Also having problems with my phone since DS has dropped it so many times, it is really smashed up and I can't afford a new one.
I should say that you can use an avon wall calendar (expect they'll be out again this year) but I use a slimline cheapie calendar - less than £1 usually. I have a gardens one hanging up in the kitchen and demand that everyone who has something going on writes it down. I cant remember who does what afterschool clubs, whose turn it is to take the kids to tennis/swimming, who has appointments etc.
Then I mark off each day and can see whats going on for the rest of the week. Also handy for marking birthdays, school holidays, inset school days, dentist/doctor appointments, avon deadlines (!), DH's payday etc etc.
I have to have it written in front of me too.
And my phones dead after it went in the washing machine following DD throwing up on me...Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
