Hi all, have all my orders in for my first campaign but a little worried as the total i'll owe avon is £248 but my ASM told me my limit was £200, will this be ok or will i get problems? Have just text my ASM to ask her but just wondered if you guys had any experience with this?
    Thanks

are your total sales £248? because then your actual cost price, what you have to pay Avon will be less than this. And don't worry if is over your £200 limit, Avon may up your limit or allow you to pay the extra over the limit.

Brilliant news.....ahh what I'd give to work at Boots...No7, Soap and Glory, Benefit...the list is endless!

Lol, I don't like Soap and Glory....

but one of my customers is the SA from our local Boots....:D and her Manager doesn't like it!

Thanks Sarahlou, but the way she explained it to me was the most I could owe avon all together (customers orders & mine for books etc) was £200 in the first campaign. Hopefully that'll be ok to just pay the difference then! Yeah I'm really surprised at how many orders I've got from my street, didn't think I'd get such a good turn out!

Yeah same here..started off quite slow then went bonkers!

Just heard that I was successful in my Boots interview and I have a part time Christmas job on the tills! It is down to Avon I think too. Before I started Avon I was struggling to get any interviews despite having worked and volunteered all the time I was at uni (worked full time before I went to do my degree). Since I put Avon on my CV I had 3 interviews and have finally got a job. My induction is next week and I start after that. Avon is not just good for upping your income :). (Unfortunately am not allowed to sell avon to colleagues for obvious reasons)

well done! I was looking to see if they had any vacancies, but I am limited to when I can work because of my childminder and preschool for my DS.
  • I did an offer as this was 1st campaign, spend £x - free gift, for those of you that have done this before, do you normally wrap the freebies, or put them in a separate bag? Don't want people thinking I've just got confused and given them something I shouldn't have!

It's my fist campaign too, still got some more books to collect but nearly at £200, really enjoying it, have spoke to more of my neighbours in the last 3 weeks than the last 3 years!!

My total orders are £280, so my cost is £216 then the books and bags etc im ordering. My ASM has replied saying to pop it through and I'll probably get asked to pay the difference and thats fine, just waiting for my mum to finish flicking through the book and then i'll pop it through and ask! She's already looking what things she can order from the next one too hehe!

My order deadline is tomorrow evening but I haven't got anymore orders to come through so is it ok for my to pop it through tonight?
    Finally dealing with debts.
    Amounts owing as of 23/09/2010
    Lloyds o/d - £1446.97 (limit £1500) | Halifax o/d - £218.37 (limit £250) | Mum - £300 | Barclaycard - £684.56 (limit £800) | Vanquis - £163.02 (limit £250) | Topshop - £69.92 | Miss Selfridge - £49.30

Ha ha - bet she doesn't! Avon need to start copying Benefit products then I would be in my element....(not that Avon would ever do such a thing of course! :D)

I normally wrap my freebies in tissue paper tied with a bit of ribbon. I buy them from the pound shop. Just to make the freebies stand out.

I'm thinking just before Christmas I'm going to wrap the freebies in wrapping paper and thinking about doing a small pressie for all my regulars.
